We had enjoyed the meal at their #2 location, twice, and thought this would be a similar enjoyable experience and was very much disappointed. We ordered 3 dishes family dinner style and when the food came out we said one of the dish was wrong but they insisted it was the correct order. We ordered the lemongrass chicken, specifically not the ginger chicken that was below it on the menu because we both dislike ginger, and the chicken came out with lots of large ginger slices and not one shred of lemongrass. We tried to get the attention of 4 staff walking by, before one would stop, this was at 3:30 pm and there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. The waiter checked the order and told us it was the lemongrass chicken, I showed him all the ginger pieces and no lemongrass and he shrugged and walked away. It was 155K VND, not alot in USD standard but not little in VND standard either, I thought the manager would come out to apologize or offer us a replacement dish, or at least check on us, there were only 2 occupied tables, 4 guests total, but no one came. My husband ordered a beer and had to ask them 3 times to bring it, and it was brought out when we were pretty much done with the meal, 30K for Beer Saigon when we had been paying between 15K to 18K elsewhere. Our bill was 315K for party of 2 for a fried tofu dish, stirfry vegetable dish and an alleged lemongrass chicken that wasn't lemongrass chicken and we couldn't eat. The dishes are very mediocre at best, not even hot, just warm, and came out all at the same time. Makes me think they were not cooked fresh upon order. Not sure if those dishes would have been better at the other location but at least there would have been better service. Defintely not worth 315K VND for the subpar dishes. We are Americans traveling Vietnam for three months and the world. We’ve eaten a lot of Vietnamese food and have been in Nha Trang for 2 weeks.

We picked this restaurant by the reviews, which were overall good but this was our particular experience.

First let me say the atmosphere is very nice and the chairs are comfortable. The restaurant was decorated for the New Years, with its alters etc and so the atmosphere is very good.

The service was marginal. The food came out quickly but we were waited on by a variety of people and there happened to be about 4-5 servers ‘hanging out’ very close to us but none of them checked on us once our food was delivered.

Lastly, the food. I’m sorry to have to say this because overall the ratings are good but this was our experience. The food came quite quickly (it was a longer wait to get our food ordered). We ordered a pancake and said it was our appetizer but they brought all the food together. The pancake felt very greasy to us. The shrimp dish my husband ordered (the waitress said the shrimp was small) but the shrimps were microscopic. It was basically like eating bamboo shoots. We ordered a stir fried seasonal vegetable but morning glory came. We like morning glory but that was a different choice on the menu. And lastly was a beef dish that well had absolutely not taste. Actually none of the dishes had taste. Even the morning glory.. we’ve eaten morning glory and love it but this was tasteless. Overall, we ate the food and it didn’t taste bad but it didn’t taste good. We ate the food because that’s who we are but unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We went to this restaurant once in summer and was excited to come back. Unfortunately the service was totally a disaster in both times I went here during Tet. The bad service destroyed the entire experience despite the food (which was not bad). Yesterday they made a wrong dish and tried to convince us to take it saying that the dish we ordered had been run out. Actually I heard the staff chatting together that it was a mistake of the kitchen. Today we gave it another try and went to their 2nd restaurant, with reservation. It was much less crowded but the service was even slower. They missed half of our order. After our 3rd reminder, they said we must wait for another 10minutes otherwise they cancelled the missed dishes. They claimed it was the kitchen’s fault and they couldn’t do anything else! I was so angry that I asked them if they gave discount for this kind of unprofessionalism. It was ironic that they offered 5% discount after a discussion with the manager. Finally we cancelled half of our order, paid for the full price and left with half-empty stomach. I was even more embarrassed because I had recommended this restaurant to my parents in law.
