We were told upon leaving that this place has just opened but on the basis of our experience we waited 25 minutes for 1 of 4 drinks to come out. Unfortunately it was cold/iced when we requested hot. Good though. Even with kids asking where their smoothie was, more than happy to wait, it's a very atmospheric spot right by a lovely stone bridge, watching all the Tam Coc row boats coming and going. 40 minutes had passed before we received a second drink. Think we were very patient to only then say 'look we won't wait for any more drinks, we will just pay for what we have received'. Staff were very kind but did not take much ownership or really acknowledge the oversight. Despite a straight forward online ordering system the two men sat next to us also never received their egg coffees. I wish this venture all the best and hope this is some constructive feedback to bring out orders timely and all together (so one person doesn't finish theirs well before the other even starts), to know their order system like the back of their hand and to just be a bit more intuitive to what the customers and needing or waiting for and how they could maybe handle things better if these sort errors happen going...
Read moreWe stopped at Relax Coffee on the banks of the River Chai to take in the scenery with a cold drink and watch the world float by. It was a lovely place with stunning views and we were initially greeted with a complimentary local iced tea. Unfortunately after around 15 minutes we started to feel a few drops of rain and we were encouraged to move under cover (which seemed a touch dramatic). However within around a minute, we had torrential rain, thunder and lightning and so ended up staying longer than planned. However, that proved to be a blessing in disguise. The lady serving and waiting on was the most lovely person you could meet. She looked after us, made us laugh and made us as comfortable as possible whilst the thunderstorm got stronger and stronger. We had a deadline to meet for a pickup and when we got ready to brave the elements she looked horrified. She looked after us like we were family and our only regret is that we were not staying in and so could not go back to see her again. The drinks and service were excellent and the views were stunning, even when the rain was hammering down. If you are in the area then call in and you will be...
Read moreSuch a good place for coffee, food and drinks. Nice and relaxing at the lake, you can watch all the boats go by. Service is super friendly, fast and they make sure everything is in order for you. The entire family will help out, they are so kind. Coffee is amazing, egg coffee was so so tasty, I think one of the best I had in Vietnam in my two years here. Food was also delicious, sweet&sour sauce is what you would expect from that dish. Just all right. Fried rice with vegetables is a large portion, nice and moist, fresh vegetables. They also work with QR-code which makes it easy to order and get the bill. They do table service as well. To cool down they have a fan for every table. We stayed in Tam Coc for 3 nights and we got brunch and afternoon drinks here every day. So good!...
