PIZZA SEN NINH BÌNH — Restaurant in Ninh Bình

Despite the high 4.8 rating, my experience at Pizza Sen in Ninh Binh was underwhelming. The location is pleasant and centrally located, just across from a bright and charming square. The staff was friendly—especially the man who took our order. He spoke good English and was welcoming at first.

However, our experience quickly took a turn. My boyfriend specifically requested a pepperoni pizza without olives. When the pizza arrived, it had olives on top. We kindly asked for it to be remade, explaining the allergy. Just two minutes later, the same pizza came back—with some olive pieces still clearly visible. This showed a complete lack of care or understanding for dietary restrictions, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous.

As for the food, the seafood pasta had decent flavor, but the sauce had an odd consistency that didn’t sit well. Overall, the visit left us disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend it—especially to anyone with food allergies. There’s clearly a gap between the high rating and the actual attention to...

My wife and i visited Pizza Sen twice in one day during our stay in Ninh Binh. At lunch the staff were friendly, and the pizzas for lunch were nice...we had a carrot juice each in a large glass and it was great - all carrot juice. We thought, let's go there again for dinner - hamburgers, not so good.. but our issue was with the carrot juices, this time in plastic containers and half the size, mixed with sugar water...i asked the guy working the floor/door if there was sugar in the drinks...he said yes, so i asked one of the girls for replacement carrot juices, they arrived again in plastic containers, no sugar, but completely watered down, all the while watching locals receive the same tall glass of carrot juice we had at lunch...foreign tourists we might be but show a little respect and don't just rip us off over something so small like a...

If you're of the opinion that pineapple does not belong on pizza, then be warned. Here it's on all the pizzas by default, and if it comes out and you realise you can't send it back.

This happened to us where my wife can't stand pineapple on pizza, and I tried to pick out the very small diced pieces but it's everywhere.

We'd eaten one piece and the manager wouldn't compromise by taking it off the bill or supplying a small margherita or anything else. Just that we could order another one and would have to pay for both still.

It's a shame that it's not written anywhere that it comes with pineapple. So we were pretty disappointed, so be warned.
