A Must-Visit Gem in Phu Quoc: Bánh xèo Cuội 3 & Ha Noi Egg Coffee
From the moment we stepped in, Bánh xèo Cuội 3 restaurant & Ha Noi Egg Coffee offered a welcoming respite from the Phu Quoc heat, with a comfortably air-conditioned dining area. We were warmly greeted and immediately felt at ease.
The menu boasts a nice variety of classic Vietnamese dishes, all at very affordable prices. We were certainly not disappointed with our choices. The vermicelli noodles were perfectly firm, and the meat accompanying them was wonderfully tender. A highlight was the brilliant selection of fresh salad that complemented the dishes beautifully.
The drinks were equally impressive – fresh and rejuvenating. And, as their name suggests, the Ha Noi Egg Coffee was a true standout, living up to all expectations with its rich and unique flavour.
A particularly thoughtful touch was the complimentary watermelon offered at the end of our meal. It was wonderfully fresh, sweet, and crispy – a perfect end to a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, our visit to Bánh xèo Cuội 3 restaurant & Ha Noi Egg Coffee was exceptional. The combination of delicious, authentic food, refreshing drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, all at great value, makes this a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting this part of Phu...
Read moreWonderful staff. Very courteous and exemplify what Vietnamese hospitality should be. There was a Korean couple that didn’t bring enough money and HENRY, the owner/manager, just told them to pay at a later date. Food items were delicious. We ordered the Combo Cuôi (2 Bánh xèo + 4 grilled pork skewers with noodles and veggies to wrap + 2 kumquat iced tea with honey), 1 banana blossom salad with shrimp and pork, 1 order of spring rolls (Goi Cuốn Tom thịt), and 1 ramen sautéed with shrimp and squid. Everything were tasty, albeit a bit modified to suit Westerner’s taste. We didn’t mind since we can’t handle the undiluted fish sauce and other sauces. I’d say much fresher and better quality than the indoor restaurant right at the entrance of Cho Dem Bai Trường, that we dined the night before. (They reused the meat from previous day. Eww…) Henry explained their origin from Hoi An and even offered us complimentary egg or salt coffees after the meal. We couldn’t take the caffeine so late at night but truly appreciated his kindness. Strongly recommend for anyone who are tired of the heckling of Cho Dem Phu Quoc and crowded streets of Duong Dong Center. Thanks Henry and staff from...
Read moreThis restaurant is one of the highest-rated Vietnamese Restaurants in Phu Quoc. Admittedly, the lovely chill ambience coupled with above street food prices for street food, means that the restaurant is more than not frequented by tourists.
The food is first class. We ordered Chef's Special "Cuoi" Combo, which is pretty much a taster platter for USD 20. This feeds two people and some. The Bahn Xeo is well done. The crispiness of the flour covering and the pork inside is exquisitely done. Eating Bahn Xeo requires using hands to wrap. It is important to get the proper mixture of ingredients, so that the sauces can bring out the rich flavours. It's very much a wise choice to wash your hands before sitting down for the meal. I loved getting my hands messy.
Service is wonderful, and there is soft soul music playing in the background. We spent longer than needed to enjoy the chill environment.
A five-star means I will come back repeatedly to this place if I ever am...
