Stated here in October 2019. Had a great stay here the bungalows were modern and cleaned everyday whilst we were there. Fresh linen New towels toilet etc. You have tea and coffee in the rooms and have free water every day. They pool area was good although a little smaller than it looks on the pictures but big enough. Breakfast was ok for me they will cook omelettes or fried eggs for you and banana pancakes which were really good and there are some cereals and bread and jams. Also sometimes random things like salad and chips. They also do pho as well which my partner said was good. Staff were friendly and helpful and the reception was manned 24 hrs. The only negatives were there aren't many Sun loungers and by that I mean about 5 but there wasn't many people staying there when we went so we never had a problem. And the door on my room when locked was a bit wobbly but there was always someone on the front desk anyway. A huge plus for us was that the hotel came and picked us up from the airport and took us back for free so that was really good. It's less than a 5.minute walk to the beach where there is a great beach bar called Joes as soon as you get into it and there are restaurants at the top of the rd. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. Oh and they have about 3/4 dogs with one that looks a bit like a poodle who loved a fuss so that was a big...
Read moreMy stay spanned nine nights. Pleasant place in a tranquil setting. Staff is cheerful. Air conditioner and WiFi operate effectively. That said, those considering a reservation should be alerted to the following: 1) the "resort" (hotel) collects passports (no photocopies acceptable) for police registration, though the police do not actually register anything (I went to the station myself with my passport); 2) the hot water system is solar heated, meaning that there is no hot water in the morning and very little on cloudy days (but very hot water on hot, sunny days); 3) the hotel does not change bed linen unless requested (and in my case, replaced my used sheets with other used sheets!); 4) My, the day staff member, is quite friendly but speaks very poor English with incomprehensible pronunciation; 5) charges for services (motorbike rental, currency exchange, food/drink items) vary inexplicably from day to day and seem to depend upon what mood My is in; 6) avoid asking direct questions about the above: if you lack hot water, are baffled by a charge, complain about the lack of room cleaning ("forgotten" on three days during my stay), or point out the bug bites after a night's sleep, you may find yourself accused of "asking too many questions." "Where you discount?" ("When are you are you checking out?"). Thankfully...
Read moreThe staff was very nice and once they understood you they were very accomodating. The central part around the pool is very cute with a lot of vegetation that really.|The staff failed to replace toilet paper, every day we had to ask for replacements. The cleaning was sub par, ex. Didn't replace sheets for our 8 days stay, visible dust on some parts etc.|The pillows were too high and too hard but the bed were ok. The staff failed to advertise their in house restaurant, but once we tried the food it was very good. Only one parasol by the pool and sun chairs for all 20 rooms, that was too few.|The location was very good, quiet and street noice. Close...
