Famiana Resort & Spa Phu Quoc — Hotel in Phú Quốc

The resort is in a perfect location just on the beach which has a beautiful beachside view. We stayed on beach villa which had an inbuilt jacuzzi and it is an ideal option especially for couples. The room backside opened to the beach directly with mesmerizing views especially the sunrise. They also have a beautiful pool and a beautiful sit out space on the beach where you can enjoy a drink and enjoy the beautiful sound of waves. Being a vegetarian food is always a concern but here they had multiple veg options and the food was quite good.

But one incident happened which really increased my respect for the Famiana Resort team . I misplaced my wallet on the second day of my stay and I was not sure where I had misplaced it. So when informed they immediately looked in cctv and took an effort to see if they help me find it. Somehow we couldn't find it. I had to check out the next day and had my flight and I had left Phu Quoc thinking I would not get my wallet . But after 5 hours I get a message from Miss. Nhu from Famiana team that they had found my wallet. I was so happy and it showed how genuine the team was from Famiana. One of my friend had a late flight from Phu Quoc so I requested if they can send it to airport and they obliged without any hesitation and sent it with driver Hong who reached the airport and waited there for a long time as my colleague was not able to come out due to security reasons. But still he was patient enough to give his best in delivering the wallet. Somehow it couldn't happen. Well i truly admire the effort of Miss. Vi. the manager who cooordinated initially with me , Miss. Nhu and driver Hong for trying their best.

I have just come to know my friend is travelling in near future to Phu Quoc and their team said they will handover the wallet to him. I thank the team of Famiana for the beautiful stay and also trying their best when there is a difficult situation. Would definitely recommend people...

What do you want from your trip? Is it for relaxation or business? If you want a quiet and comfortable rest, this is the best resort. I stayed here for a week. The staff treated me with the best service and kindness. I tend to use the room relatively cleanly, but they provide daily cleaning and tidying. Be sure to include breakfast. They provide moderate and quality food. The 2.2 meter deep swimming pool in the resort is always in good condition, and it provides a lot of fun compared to the general shallow pool. Beach towels are provided. You can return them to the staff after use. If you are confident in swimming in the sea on a nice day, you can enjoy swimming in the sea in front of the resort. The resort's private beach has a beach bar. Good food, drinks, cocktails, especially the friendly staff. It is located 15 minutes from the airport, and if you tell the resort your arrival flight and arrival time by email, they will pick you up. If you tell the resort your return flight and time, they will provide transportation according to your return time. (You can get to the airport conveniently.) You might want to visit the bustling area in the middle of Phu Quoc once. If you walk at an adult pace, it takes about 15 minutes. If you take Grab, it takes 5 minutes. The resort provides pick-a-ball (ask at the front desk). There is a global ATM machine right in front of the resort. If you have a debit card or credit card that can use the global ATM, you can withdraw cash with minimal exchange fee. There is a local travel agency next to the resort. You can book the necessary travel products and enjoy it right away. There are relatively good local restaurants within 5 minutes for dinner. What do you want during your trip? This place will provide you with the best space and environment to do whatever you want. Enjoy a leisurely and comfortable trip here.

From our enthusiastic welcome to our warm send off, our stay at the Famiana Resort & Spa was superb.

From the ever smiling Loc at the front desk, to Tuyet and Diem who were always ready to help and were always so kind, our 21 night stay was beyond excellent. The breakfast staff, without exception, was always friendly helpful and Lehn at the omelette station consistently served up great eggs fried, scrambled or as omelettes. While commenting on food we must say we absolutely loved the beachfront “Sip & Heal Beach Bar” (and restaurant.) We regularly sipped there and every night, while many guests went off property to “enjoy” noisy traffic at nearby restaurants, we opted for tranquil ocean sounds, passing fish boats, stunning sunsets and later the distant green lights of the squid fishing fleet. Oh, and the meals were delicious and very fairly priced.

Rooms and housekeepers were wonderful. We had room H215 and we think it was the best room on the property. A minute’s walk leads to the beach chairs, shady palm trees and steps leading to the beach. With ocean wave patterns, the resort maintains the lounging area on higher ground while a wall keeps the ocean at a lower level. Unlike many resorts, we never noticed people “reserving” chairs or hammocks for the day. To stop beach walkers from wandering on to the property and taking over beach chairs the resort’s security staff quickly identified interlopers and moved them along.

From the moment one steps on to the relatively small resort property the high level of maintenance for both the buildings and the grounds is apparent. So too is the drop of noise from the outside world; one wouldn’t know there was a busy road only steps away.
