Chez Rico Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Phú Quốc

We are here with my husband for 10 days in Phu Quoc, he can drive the motorbike, so we can get around, still, it's our 5th day, and wouldn't eat anywhere else. We always have our dinner here, and twice our lunch too, because the food is so amazing, the prices are very nice and the family who runs it, just wonderful. We had one of our best chat with the owner, the dad, he knows so much about Vietnamese and the surrounding countries history, it's really worth to pick his brain! He lived through a lot, and his family too and he's extremely intelligent. I already learnt a lot from him! He speaks perfect English and he's extremely kind, as well as the rest of his family. We found this restaurant on our first night here and just feeling so lucky that we did! I'm a vegetarian and my husband eats everything, still, they can make everything on the menu with tofu. Even if it's not listed! My husband recommends the beef with pepper sauce and the fried chicken breast with passion fruit sauce. I recommend the tofu with tomato sauce and the pho soup. The Best Restaurant at ong Lang Beach!

This is a super authentic family restaurant. We have been staying for a whole month in ong Lang and tried almost everything from the menu and everything was great! After some disappointments trying other restaurants we sticked to Chez Rico because they have a great quality they are so kind and they are constantly improving their atmosphere and service.

Our favorites from the local kitchen menu are the papaya salad, fresh spring rolls, the curry especially fish curry and chicken curry and the bbq chicken wings with satay sauce.

Fajna, rodzinna knajpka, widać, że bardzo się starają zadowolić każdego. Jednak tutaj chodzi mi o wyspe – bary posiadają bardzo duże karty menu. Mnogość turystów z Rosji oraz krajów anglosaskich wymusza umieszczanie burgerów w lokalnych knajpkach, co jest pewnego rodzaju tragedią.🍔🍟🍕🌭

W lokalu zamówiliśmy rollsy z owocami morza🍤🦪, smażone kalmary, kalmara na maśle z czosnkiem z dodatkiem ryżu, sałatkę mango oraz smażony ryż z kurczakiem.🍗

Sajgonki były lepsze od tych z konkurencji, jednak smażony kalmar był głównie panierką. Kalmara z masłem i czosnkiem był smaczny, ale brakowało mu wyrazistości w smaku, który lubię(wiecej lolaknego smaku, europejczycy lubia wasze smaki). Natomiast brawa za miękkość, bo był naprawdę mięciutki. Jeśli chodzi o sałatkę mango🥗, to jest ona HITem tego miejsca. Idealna kompozycja między słodyczą mango a świeżością ziół oraz dodatków to naprawdę to, co polecam każdemu będącemu w okolicy. Ryż z kurczakiem był poprawny, na pewno nie można być niezadowolonym po takim jedzonku. Jednak hitem, raz jeszcze powtórzę, jest sałatka mango.1️⃣‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
