Went here after looking for an affordable authentic vietnamese place around Long Beach and reading a few reviews. It was low season, quiet and the service was really friendly and fast. It's a family run place so I can see how it would be slower if busy. But the food is well worth it!! We had the claypot cobia and prawn curry...both absolutely delicious!! Served with large portions of rice which I couldn't finish. We also had prawn spring rolls (they are made from fresh here, not store bought) and the grilled aubergine with green onion and peanuts...highly recommended! worked out we paid a 3rd of what we would have paid in London for an excellent quality authentic vietnamese meal. Read moreLove this place! I ate here often during my 2 weeks in Ong Lang. It’s a true family affair with even a young (maybe 6 yrs old) neighbour helping out to clean tables on occasion. The young boy who often greets you at the Bbq is what made me stop the first time and I’m so glad I did! The food is great, at a great price and the service is exceptional (and it gets busy!!!) Read moreOur favorite restaurant in this area. We were here for two weeks and tried out some restaurant but this one was definitely the best one. After trying out a different one we always ended up back here even when it was just for dessert. We highly recommend the coconut ice cream.
It is a very friendly family restaurant with very delicious food and service. They have daily fresh seafood they prepare on a grill which is delicious. We even tried the lobster which was just perfect.
