During the Tet holiday, my girlfriend and I found ourselves returning here twice a day, drawn back not just by hunger but by something more elusive—the quiet pleasure of discovering a place that feels both familiar and extraordinary.
If you go, do not hesitate: order the grilled red snapper, lovingly prepared by Tim. Watching her at work, you sense the precision, the quiet dedication, the almost meditative attention to detail. This is not just fish—it is a small lesson in craftsmanship, a reminder that perfection is often found in the simplest of things. And when you take that first bite, you understand: this is, quite possibly, the best fish you will ever eat.
Tim and Simon were a delight throughout the week—warm, generous, effortlessly engaging. Conversations with them felt like conversations with old friends, the kind that linger in the mind long after they’ve ended.
The smoothies, coffee, and breakfasts were equally thoughtful—simple but deeply satisfying, offering the kind of nourishment that extends beyond the plate. And all of it, astonishingly, at an excellent price.

Read moreConsidering there are only a few places to eat along this strip and the reviews were decent we thought we would try it out. Friendly service -yes. Ca phe Sau da- excellent.Bút I have to say the food is basic. They over westernized it- and maybe because the tourists like that? But we do not. Any dish you order is over sauced -just soaked- with what tastes like sauce from a jar. Even the veg rice dish tasted overdone with flavouring. Bánh mi was also basic. More like fast food than Vietnamese. The BBQ fish was cooked nicely but not much flavour on ours but add a little salt and pepper and it was nice. We did have the snails and they were fantastic. Overall it’s just ok unless you are looking for western Vietnamese then you will...
Read moreThis place was incredible! It’s run by wonderful women who not only cook with love but also support their local community. We went there about four times during our stay, and every single meal was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The prices are very affordable, and the atmosphere feels so welcoming and full of heart.
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including several vegan options. The vegan pho was out of this world, and the summer rolls were another highlight. It’s honestly the best and most authentic Vietnamese food we’ve had. Because we came so often, the lovely ladies even surprised us with a free tea.
If you ever visit the island, don’t miss this gem. I truly hope to eat here...
