Randomly wandered into this place during a visit to Sonasea night market. The food was great and very reasonably priced (try the fish sauce braised chicken and egg fried rice!). A thunderstorm came mid dinner and the staff rushed to make sure the guests were sheltered from the rain. They even gave us mango for desserts and some mangoes to take home at the end of the night! 베트남은 베트남이다. 저녁 요기를 위해 나선 소나시 야시장. 습기라고는 느껴지지 않는 선선한 바람을 느끼면서, '아 오늘의 베트남은 베트남 같지가 않아서 좋네' 라고 내뱉었다.

꼬치 요리가 먹고 싶다는 와이프를 만족시키기 위해 찾은 야시장 길거리 식당 고사미. 가게 이름이 구글 맵에서 한글로 검색되는 베트남 가게라서, 이건 뭐지 싶은 마음에 리뷰를 봤는데 아니나 다를까 5점 러쉬가 이어지는 리뷰글들. 아, 여기도 5점 리뷰 주면 뭔가 할인을 해주는 건가보다 싶으면서도, 생거짓말같은 가게는 아니겠지. 길거리 음식의 정취를 맛보고자 저녁 식사를 해결할 곳으로 선정.

어눌한 한국말로 접객하시는 정겨움과, 오늘은 랍스터가 죽입니다라면서 실물 랍스터를 두 손으로 자랑스레 들어보이는 여사장님의 포스에 짓눌려 꼬치 하나와 랍스터 800g 주문.

갓 구운 꼬치에서 느낄 수 있는 육즙과 양파의 하모니가 입을 즐겁게 하고, 마늘 양념을 적당히 가미한 랍스터 살점 덕분에 딸래미의 턱 근육이 춤을 추는 구나. 아 이게 베트남이지 싶은 찰나에 갑자기 쏟아지는 폭우.

아 이것이 베트남이지! 손님들 비 안맞게 하려고 이동식 가설 천막을 분주하게 설치하는 점원들의 얼굴에는 고단함 속에서 느낄 수 있는 에너지와 우리로선 이해 못할 미소가 느껴진다. 아 이게 베트남이구나. 미소 속에 느껴지는 강인함과 끈기! 이게 베트남이다!!!
