On May 11, 2023, I had high hopes for a delightful dining experience after finding a promising 4.8-star review for Vietnamese Home Food on Google. However, my visit to the restaurant was disappointing. We ordered fried Silk Tofu with Salted Egg Yolk, Shrimp Tempura with Green Rice, and Pork Spring Rolls.
To begin with, the tofu from the deep fryer lacked any flavor or seasoning whatsoever. The Salted Egg Yolk dish was completely ruined, as the yolk was completely deteriorated. The Pork Spring Rolls were excessively fried and filled with inferior-quality meat, including tendons and fat. The shrimp in the Shrimp Tempura dish was poorly fried, and the accompanying sauce comprised of ketchup and mayo, which was rather underwhelming. It was evident that no effort was put into the cooking process.
Adding to the disappointment, we were charged a total of 475k Dong for the meal, which included a 5% service fee. Considering the quality of the food, it was disheartening to realize that there was no passion for cooking.
I find it difficult to comprehend how Vietnamese Home Food managed to maintain a 4.8-star rating. The overall experience was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic and flavorful home-style...
Read moreThe worst restaurant in Puquoc. I merely wrote a bad review because I don't like to influence other people's choice. However, this restaurante should be improved in terms of service and food.
FOOD QUALITY(Especially, Tom Yam soup) I ordered Tom Yam soup which is VND 950,000. But its size is too small like a sauce as youcan see in the picture and there is a nothing to eat.
POOR SERVICE this is important part.I asked why it isso diffrent with pictures in the menu. And female employee said "it is only for display." without any explanation or excuse. It was so shocked.
There are bunch of restaurantes with good quality and reasonable price. So please advoid this restaurante, if they are not improved.

Read moreHaving indulged in much fresh seafood, we were particularly drawn to the smoky aroma of grilled meats. The beef was tender and the overall options were delicious, albeit a little fatty. As always, I enjoyed the slower nature of a BBQ styled meal, especially in the beautiful and vibrant setting of the market.
The staff did a fine job with their service and attentiveness despite it being a rather busy dinner evening.
The first menu combo with a serving of rice was more than plentiful for two. Along with two cocktails, the bill came in under 800K which is phenomenal value for the quality.
Worth the visit for singles, couples,...
