Gin Coffee — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

I came around 13:00, looked at the menu, and was told by staff: “no food today.” No explanation, no clear reason. Normally, restaurants clarify if the kitchen is closed at certain hours or if it’s a special day off, but here it just felt completely random.

Afterward, I double-checked the menu, café boards, and online information to see if I had missed any details about kitchen hours - nothing. Only later I noticed another review from someone who couldn’t get breakfast at 7:40, and the owner’s response was not only dismissive but also insulting. The excuse given was that breakfast starts at 9 because “that’s when customers come” - yet I was turned away after 13:00.

If you want to be “strong in coffee,” then serve only coffee. But don’t advertise food if you can’t deliver it, and certainly don’t insult customers who point out inconsistencies. This shows a lack of professionalism and respect both in service and communication.

As Vietnamese say: “Ăn cây nào, rào cây nấy” - take responsibility for what you promise. If you can’t serve food, don’t advertise it, and don’t blame the customer for...

This cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots for Thai tea in the area.

While it’s surprisingly hard to find a place around here that serves a really good Thai tea, this one comes close to the flavors I fell in love with in Bangkok.

Good : Coffe and food was good there. Good price too. Good cafe to kill time

Bad : the team works there that obviously over capacity in someway ( maybe too many online order ? ) they been telling / relating to everyone “ 30 mins wait for drinks “ and “ 45 mins longer for food “. “ we don’t want to waste your time “ it was very easy to spot on what is going on in there and I instead on my orders anyway. Didn’t not wait long at all. However at least they were nice about it and the welcoming tea all came on time and service...
