Pharos Guesthouse — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

Favourite guest house. Calm, peaceful, big rooms. The pool is great to cool off and the hammocks in the shade to laze out of the heat. Security at night. The host is amazing. (And speaks perfect English) So lovely and friendly. He recommended all our food options, and helped book us an onwards bus transfer.

Location wise it's perfect. Great food around, some great beach bars, and the cleanest stretch of beach. (It's set back from the beach, but there's a cool beach bar in front) 300m to the left or the right and you get the beach where the fishermen leave their boats, or the bigger, more expensive resorts, and the beach isn't as nice. Definitely smug...

Well what can i say. Pharos is Mui Ne was My best stay in Vietnam by far. From the minute I have arrived. It just had this welcoming, relaxing vibe. The pool looks like something from a David Hockney painting. Absolutely stunning. 2 mins from the beach and nice food and bar options close by. Danny the owner was absolutely incredible. Checking in each day to make sure everything was going ok. Offering tips and suggestions for places to visit and see and going above and beyond to offer a welcoming stay at his villas. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. They did their best to make guests feel comfortable and also provided extra information about the attractions in the area. As well the host booked a tour to the dunes for us, the same price as if one would go to a travel agency. The room was fine, clean, enough space, including a fridge. The air conditioner performed poorly, which they fortunately tried to fix. However, if you like it cool / fresh you will need to turn on the fan in addition to the air conditioner.
