Good luck, Vietnam!
You learn about the quality of the service of a business when things don’t go the way they should. In my case, it didn’t - and I don’t mean that they brought me the wrong dish - they just brought me the right one very quickly after I made them aware - but that I paid 3 times and had to leave the restaurant, hoping that I’d get my money back. So what happened? I paid with my credit card that had worked flawlessly in Vietnam so far. The waitress tried the card two times, and said, no sorry I didn’t go through. So paid cash. It was only after this, that I received two messages from my bank, that my payments had been successful. I showed the 2 messages and asked for my money back. And that’s when all the chaos happened: first I had an unpleasant talk with the manager who basically told me she couldn’t help me and I should wait till tomorrow. I said that that this was inacceptable, and that in a world of real-time online transactions she should be able to check these things right away. She said she couldn’t check because she was not the boss and obviously she didn’t want to wake the boss or whatever. It was only after I threatened to talk to the police that suddenly the boss was available but she also told me that there was nothing she could do, she could not check the payments now. So, to make a long story short, in the end I had to leave the restaurant in good faith, hoping I’d get my money back. My advice: if you still want to go, have the cash ready. For me, it’s never again! Good luck!
Update: Dear Giovanni, I believe I do understand the matter but thanks for your explanation anyway. I would like to point out that I have not accused you of anything but merely told others my experiences in your restaurant. As these reviews are for other users, I don’t wish to get dragged into a petty argument but restate my point: I’m my opinion, payment is an important part of the service any business can offer. As a customer, I would like this to be a trustworthy process. That includes transparency. You claim that this is impossible for you to see, however, this is not my experience. Also, as your employee told me that night, there had been problems with your payment terminal before. So instead of calling me repeatedly, trying to get me to delete my review, may I politely suggest that you look into this. My aforementioned remarks about the possibility to definitely check whether credit card payments went through or not are not science-fiction to my knowledge. Good...
Read moreTo begin with all of the staff were very welcoming, they told us what the deals were and then allowed us time to scan over the menu. Food and drinks ordered and confirmed. 1 lasagne 1 carbonara 1 fries And takeaway pepperoni pizza 1 beer and 1 can of coke We were asked if we wanted everything to come together and agreed that the pizza would come after our meal was finished to take away. My Carbonara and the fries were brought to the table but was a shame that we did have to wait another 10 minutes for the lasagne so i had nearly finished my meal by the time my partners had arrived, non the less the food was very tasty and very fresh. Meals finished the waiter came to take the plates but my partner still eating the last few mouthfuls the waiter stood by the table with my empty plate until he was done, which we would of appreciated if all the plates would of been cleared when we had both finished our meals as my partner felt rushed to finish his last few bites. At the end of the meal we asked for the bill and were offered 2 complimentary Lemoncello which was a lovey touch to the end of a really tasty meal. Thank you for having us and if we return to Mui Ne we will definitely be...
Read moreI normally like to give 5 stars for goodmorning vietnams pizza..seafood pizza was great and the salad with tuna... but we were there again yesterday and had my chicken for take out coz I couldnt finish it together with little salad and bread. The staff put it all together in one paper box as if the food will be for a dog they cared less to wrap it the chicken comes with sauce . The sauce was all soaked to the paper box and to the bread, the bread got so wet and got soaked with the sauce too. My chicken with pineapple became really dry and made the paper box too wet soak with sauce and again the bread too. Unlike other restaurants for example in ganesh for take out they always separate the food in a cellophane bag or plastic cups they wrap it well ofcourse for a human being to enjoy it a home. My take out from goodmorning vietnam was not a good experience its a bit insulting like I was a dog to mix it all up together in one paper box to have have the sausce suck up by bread and the paper box. I always like the good morning vietnam but since yesterday I didnt like it. The chicken taste ok but the pineapple smell ...
