Ratinger Löwe — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

After all the good reviews we read here about this restaurant, we also dared to visit this German restaurant in Vietnam ... This restaurant was very inviting, spacious and very clean ... The food was really delicious and price performance ratio is reasonable ... The only thing that bothered me a little was the menu, which was written in Russian rather than in German or English ... And, the really super cute, with a dirndl serving was polite and friendly , but really slow. We waited for our drinks for quite a while, although it wasn't very busy yet ... And they sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed ... But on the whole, the food was great. You could even eat better German food here than in some German restaurants.

Nach den allen guten Rezensionen die wir hier gelesen haben, über dieses Restaurant, haben wir es auch gewagt und haben dieses deutsches Restaurant in Vietnam besucht... Dieses Restaurant wirkte sehr einladend, geräumig und sehr sauber... Das Essen schmeckte wirklich sehr lecker und Preisleistungsverhältniss ist angemessen... Das einzige was mich ein wenig gestört hat, war die Speisekarte, die eher auf russisch geschrieben war als auf deutsch oder englisch... Und, die echt mega süß, mitm Dirndl bedienende Bedienung war zwar höflich und freundlich, aber echt langsam. Wir warteten auf unsere Getränke ziemlich eine Weile, obwohl es noch nicht viel los war...Und sie wirkten manchmal ein wenig überfordert... Aber im großen und ganzen, das Essen war spitze. Man konnte hier sogar besser deutsches Essen essen als in manchen deutschen...

We had dinner in this restaurant four evenings in a row and tried a lot of dishes from the menu. We ordered both Vietnamese dishes as well as a selection of Western dishes - mainly authentic German cuising, such as Schnitzel, Wurst with Sauerkraut etc., and were amazed at how good and yummy everything tasted! It was also refreshing to have Western dishes for a change :) The ambient and the overall decoration were inviting and reminiscent of a Bavarian restaurant. The cocktail selection was impecable and a very nice addition to an overall delicious...

So. You're on a holiday to Vietnam. You're enjoying your time, the taste of dishes and the people who force you to buy their sunglasses. But then... Then you're hungry and want something from home. What to do?

Sausages, potatoes, Greek gyros, chicken curry, you name it. They've got it here. Now, I have absolutely no idea why someone would go back to dishes-like-home on holiday, but this is the place!

They serve well portions. The taste might differ a bit than you're used to. But hey, you're still on a holiday....
