I came to Mui Ne to spend a quiet 2 days by the beach- instead I ran into Botanical Spa and ended up staying here 5 days. After my first treatment here I was hooked! Over the course of my stay in Mui Ne I spent 3 days at Botanica where I indulged in about 8 hours of treatments.
Some notes pre treatment: The location is a bit tucked away but once you get there you understand why. It feels like you’re in a small tropical forest with frogs and birds chirping with beautiful oriental and Indian music playing gently in the background. You are welcomed with warm tea and water and are welcome to use the shower if you head here straight from the beach to wash off the sand. As you are taken to your treatment room, your therapist will place your clothes in a beautiful basket and your valuables and jewellery will be placed in a locker below your treatment bed and keys handed to you so you can relax without worrying. They also provide you with disposable underwear to change into so you can feel most comfortable. These underwear and changed between treatments. Post your treatment you can relax in their garden area and sip some complimentary tea and water.
On my first day I went with the 2 hour package which involved an amazing full body- and I mean FULL BODY scrub with ground coffee. After the hour long scrub I was taken to the beautiful showers where I washed off the coffee beans before heading to my next treatment. This was followed by an amazing facial massage. The facial massage concluded in a collagen mask session while simultaneously receiving the most relaxing Vietnamese oil massage. They gently wash off the oils with a warm towel scrub and you’re left feeling ready for a nap :). This treatment is between 2-2.5 hours.
My second visit included the same order of treatments but this time I opted for a salt scrub and a papaya face mask. I would highly recommend the papaya! And while I felt the salt made for a better scrub than coffee- the coffee scrub definitely left me smelling divine! Other scrub options included coconut and rice bran but I did not try these- apparently they are gentler- so this would be a great option if you have sensitive skin. I was looking for a hefty scrubbing! Also, during the course of my second treatment I was SO RELAXED that I fell asleep. It was glorious.
For my third and last day I went big and indulged in the VIP treatment. This is a 3 hour treatment that starts in the steam room- which is DIVINE and is lemongrass sceneted with fresh lemongrass from their gardens. The steam room is followed by a full body and face liquorice scrub. The liquorice was amazing- I thought it was quite gentle compared to the salt and coffee but really good nonetheless. After a nice warm shower to scrub off the liquorice I was treated to a seaweed wrap. My entire body, every inch, and face, were wrapped in seaweed. This was a first time for me and I LOVED it! It doesn’t feel weird, perhaps a bit slimy but I thought it was very hydrating :). After my second shower and washing off the remnants of the seaweed I had another lovely Vietnamese oil massage. Three hours felt amazing and I took quite a few micro naps during each treatment.
Note: for the VIP treatment please make bookings in advance or mention it atleast 30 minutes before so they can get the steam room ready for you.
All in all I had the most GLORIOUS time here. I didn’t do anything major in Mui Ne except lay on the beach and get fantastic massages at Botanica Spa which I will...
Read moreLove this place! I’ve been coming here for the last 2 months and i can totally recommend. I had many types of massages done, a facial, leg hair removal and chiropractor sessions. Most of the massages were very good, although some therapists could use some more experience. Facial with natural mask was very nice and relaxing it’s best when combined with a massage as a “double relax”. Leg hair removal spot on and professional sugaring. The chiropractor was amazing, full of experience, very concentrated and dedicated. The whole place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Love the ginger tea you get every time you get a service. The owner Lisa is a great woman as well as her sister. Lovely place that really stands out from the rest of spas in Mui Ne, a tiny more pricey but all the money is worth for the experience and quality of the services. Can’t wait to come...

Went for the second time but had a totally different experience :( We booked 1 day advance cause its after new year so we thought it would be busy. We got to the spa 10mins early we waited 30mins.. Therapist were kinda in a hurry and no where as good as the ones we got the first time.. It was also loud cause we were near the waiting area which was crowded.
If i could review twice, it would be 5stars the first time and 2 star the second time so I’m giving them 3 stars for average.
REVIEW WHEN WE WENT THE FIRST TIME*
Tucked away behind a busy street filled with lovely plants and nice smelling aroma everywhere. Never been massaged by a male masseuse before but it was awesome! We were offered some tea before and after the massage. Will...
