RAU Delibakery — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

I was really excited to visit this restaurant because it’s rating was really high. When we came into the restaurant we were greeted by a really lovely gentleman who showed us to our table. The interior was beautiful and really well designed. The gentleman came and took our orders and told us about the menu. I ordered the Super Black Salami pizza and asked if I could get extra toppings and he assured me that of course that is possible, so I asked them to add olives and green peppers. I was really excited to get my order because after a long day of travelling I was really hungry. That’s when things started going wrong.. Approximately 10min later a woman approached our table to let me know that they had ran out of salami... it was 4pm and we were the only costumers in the whole restaurant. She started suggesting different pizzas, let me remind you that her english was not so good, so I barely understood her. She suggested seafood or chicken pizza but I had my reason why I couldn’t order them. After trying to convince me to order something else she all of a sudden told me she would go and get some from a nearby restaurant, that it would only take 5min max, so I agreed. After waiting for quite a long time for a pizza, it finally arrived.. oh no.. There base was soo dry and not even cooked through... there was no sauce on the base, there was thrown some cheese on top and then some tomato sauce. And well as you can see the extra toppings I asked for.. nowhere to be seen. But at that point, I was soo hungry I didn’t care anymore. It was not pleasant to eat... I could barely eat half of it because it was soo dry. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo+Mango burger. It looked really good but it took a really long time. They went to get the salami for my pizza and make my pizza, I managed to eat half of my pizza when his food came. We were not given any cutlery, but they did bring him a pair a rubber gloves he could use to eat his meal.. ? All in all not a...

In my opinion, the quality is not worth the price. Paid 90k for a fruit salad and it didn’t come with strawberry or blueberry as in the picture. This was OK since the meny said seasional fruits. It was still disapointing tho. I also ordered pancakes with banana. Got pancakes with mango. I let the staff know and they fixed me pancakes with banana. But the pancakes were cold and had a VERY chewy consistency. I wish they had more crunch and didn’t come out cold. I think they might just took the mango away and added banana in the old pancakes they already gave me the first time around. They cost me additional 80k which I think is too much concidering the pancakes at the food court just around the corner cost 60k and was much better.

The hostess was friendly but did not speak English. The atmosphere inside was cozy, but me and my friend are not eating here again. She had the buffalo steak. It was ok but a litle bit dry and you had to chew A LOT. The buffalo came with BBQ taste, french fries and salad....

At first I was just looking for a place that serve burgers, and RAU was the only one that was close to out hotel. My friends and I didn't have any expectations, or quite low if we had had at all so we were amazed of the wide selection of burgers including chicken, buffalo, beef, vegan, AND ostrich!! (along with a whole menu of western food) We decided to go with buffalo, chicken, and ostrich and HOLY HELL I did not expect it to be of that quality considering the price!! - from only 60k (😳) for the chicken to 200k for ostrich.

The burgers took quite a long time but it was because there were only 2 people working who were also the owners of the restaurant, and it was soooo worth it at the end. Not to mention they make all the dough from scratch!!

The space was beautifully decorated by Rau (the owner) himself!! He was super hospitable and friendly which made the experience 10 times...
