Vive Café — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Very good quality latte and equally good pastries.

We didn't speak a lot of Spanish but they had an English menu on hand and the staff spoke English to us. (Thank you)

Staff : very nice folks work here and some of them are able to speak English for foreigners like us!

Food : we ordered latte, mochaccino for drinks. Scon, chocolate croissant with pistachio cream, toast and almond alfajores. I say other than the croissant, everything else was very very good. The croissant is average but still not disappointing or anything!

Vibe : pretty chill with music in the background. We saw some folks just working on their laptops and some coming in to have discussions but no one is loud. Good white noise background, if you're the type of person that likes to work with white noise as well!

Last and most importantly the latte was amazing. As someone who loves good lattes I'm likely going to be here at least...

The most popular item, almojábanas, was not available when I went.

Both the pan au chocolate con pistachio and the almond croissant were bad -- too sweet and chewy. Not flakey like a real croissant. Pastries nowhere near the ones I had in Bogota. Worst almond croissant I've ever had.

Napkins not included with takeaway pastry orders. And the pastries are so oily that they significantly leaked through the takeaway bag (see picture).

Iced magic coffee was bad -- served lukewarm, not cold. I asked for takeaway and they gave it to me in a small hot beverage cup with no lid. Also didn't feel much of a caffeine kick from it, I think it has significantly below-average caffeine content.

Unfriendly staff and not accommodating with...

Vivé Café is a gem of a place. It has the best coffee I've had in Buenos Aires (and that includes the famous Coffee Town), their prices are way below the generally expensive Buenos Aires prices. And the cafe itself is a friendly cosy place where you can relax with a coffee with friends, do some work or just surf the net. But it's not just the coffee, they also have delicious cakes and snacks (my favourite was the raspberry muffin), teas, and a variety of cold drinks. Go for the limonada de coco, a perfect blend of lemon and coconut that is somehow refreshing and creamy at the same time. The owners are super friendly and were kind enough to let me practice my Spanish when we chatted. I can't recommend this place...
