I recently visited Yankiez Momo by Momo Mami with high hopes, drawn in by their creative momo offerings. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in terms of flavor.
I started with their Schezwan Momos, expecting a bold, spicy kick. To my disappointment, there was barely any spice, and the filling lacked depth or excitement—it just didn’t hit the mark.
Next, I tried their Momo Platter, which included Peri Peri (Piro Piro), Pizza, Garlic, and Kurkure Momos. Out of the mix, only the Piro Piro Momos stood out with a decent flavor profile. The Kurkure Momos were overly crispy—almost too hard to enjoy. As for the Pizza Momos, I’ve had better versions elsewhere; these just didn’t impress me. The Garlic Momos didn’t leave much of an impression either.
That said, the ambience was nice, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which helped improve the overall vibe of the visit.
Final Verdict: Great concept, but the execution—especially in terms of taste—needs improvement. Worth a visit if you’re curious, but temper your...
Read moreThe worst experience that anyone could possibly have. To lure in customers, these guys have highlighted their cheapest dishes at the entrance, but the moment you go in, you’ll be blown away by the prices on their actual menu.
Upon having the first bite, it will make you rethink your decision, and you’ll start to feel bad about yourself — wondering what were the odds of you walking into this place. I ordered a chicken wrap and, my my, I've never had such a dull, tasteless, and dry wrap in my entire life. It almost feels like they just put in the ingredients as per the recipe without actually tasting it or having the slightest idea of how the food would turn out.
Coming to the overpriced Hakka noodles — I guess they only added oil and salt as ingredients, with the dullest taste I could ever experience in my life. I'm still questioning my decision to step inside this horrible place and spend my hard-earned money on such a...
Read moreI recently visited and got highly disappointed by the food that got served to us. Mint mojito tasted so bad as if it was made from old soda bottle which did not had any fizz left. It tasted like syrup with water. Too bad! And we ordered two and felt as if we got cheated. Instead I suggest temple street restaraunt which is nearby and I guess is the best one if you want to visit. Momos was still better. One odd thing which I felt awkward was the people in the restaraunt came to us like a sales man approaches or any loan guy approaches to you to suggest you the food. Not needed. It was a huge down point and instantly I felt so intimidated. Honestly 0/5 experience and 1/5 for food....
