I have given them 5 star rating because they are not that bad as reported by the lowest ranking reviews . Actually , I don't go to a place just based on its five-star rating because I know that those ratings are often inflated just to boost numbers. I go through the one-star ratings and then take the risk of visiting there . In this case many dissatisfied customer reported about bad service and some unhygienic conditions and rude behaviour of the staff so I wanted to check for myself and thus visited I discovered that the staff is very friendly , service is quite good ., place is clean and food is quite sensibly priced . Some of customers actually) mentioned about the presence of some foreign material in the food which can cause some health issues to the eater ..but I found the food quite agreeable . बाकी खाना तो ध्यान से ही चाहिए हर जगह , भले घर हो या बाहर। The 5 star ranking is also for the fact that the owner seems to read each review with attention and assures with a professional reply . Overall the place is worth visiting again and try different items including the one you tasted before . I ordered a Mixed Amritsari kulcha , many things were mixed in it and I got confused in taste of different materials ... so next time again I am going try the same . The place can be easily located , parking is available . Crowed in weekends . wheelchairs are...
Read moreTemple Street in Old Rajinder Nagar, near Karol Bagh, is a breakfast gem you don’t want to miss. With a diverse menu available from 8 to 11:30 AM, they offer a mix of North and South Indian favorites that hit all the right spots.
I started my meal with their samosas, and they were simply fantastic—crispy on the outside and stuffed with a flavorful, well-spiced filling. Next, I tried their Pav Bhaji, and it was equally impressive. The bhaji was rich and perfectly spiced, served with buttery, soft pavs that made it a hearty and satisfying dish. Their dosa was another highlight—thin, crispy, and served with chutney and sambar that added just the right balance of flavors. Even the idlis, though simple, were soft and light, complementing the rest of the South Indian spread wonderfully.
Despite offering such high quality, the prices remain incredibly reasonable, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious breakfast without burning a hole in their pocket. Whether you're in the mood for something light or craving a filling breakfast, this spot has you covered. With such a broad and delicious menu, Temple Street is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful breakfast near Karol Bagh. Highly...
Read moreI recently visited Temple Street in ORN with a few friends, and I must say, it was such a wholesome experience! We were in the mood for some authentic South Indian food, and this place totally delivered.
We tried their dosa, idli, vada, and a couple of other classic South Indian dishes. The dosa was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of masala inside. The chutneys and sambar were fresh, flavorful, and felt like something straight from a South Indian kitchen. The idlis were soft and fluffy, and the vadas had a great crunch without being too oily.
One thing I absolutely loved about Temple Street is how student-friendly the prices are. As students, we’re always looking for tasty food that doesn’t burn a hole in our pockets, and this place fits the bill perfectly. You get great quality food at very reasonable prices.
The ambience is simple yet welcoming. It’s clean, well-lit, and has a nice vibe that makes you want to sit and enjoy your meal peacefully. The staff was polite and quick with service, which is always a plus.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Temple Street to anyone craving South Indian food in the ORN area. It’s tasty, budget-friendly, and gives you that warm, home-style feeling. Definitely...
