Keg & Coppersmith — Restaurant in Copperbelt Province

Well where shall I start. Service: very poor. You will come across Untrained or unwilling waitresses. Food: very expensive as compared to other franchises. Eg In Lusaka buffalo wing basket are K 90 and in Kitwe a whooping K 140. In terms of quality I found the Lusaka Keg & Hippo very much delicious. Others: I have asked for a cafe latte. I was served with a tea spoon which is very short to use on cafe latte cup. When I ask for a long spoon they offered me a soup spoon then I rest my case. It is not a place to be. It's mostly a casual hang out place that is prone to get loud and raucous the more it gets crowded. The meals are usually really well done, but the atmosphere is not one I enjoy, so I just order and leave. Definitely not a place to take your kids, it's more of a pub and grill than a family steak house.

Came to have breakfast and I must say I was served well. Iness and the current manager Ilina (not sure if I'm spelling that right lol) but they simply outstanding and went above and beyond with their customer service. It made my visit quite memorable, definitely gonna ce more often on...

Do not visit them for a breakfast. I decided to go to Keg as to Spur for some change and it was a mistake.

They neglected to tell me they can't serve me because they fumigated the restaurant. They tried to accommodate me by still making me a breakfast "which i do appreciate". Waited 1 hour for breakfast and half way through i found my toast was full of mold.... obviously i lost my appetite just there. It's harmless but yes, i was disappointed.

They did offer me to not pay, but i payed the fulle bill but left. Not good guys. Unfortunately, Spur will see me again...
