RocoMamas Mukuba Mall — Restaurant in Copperbelt Province

they had been open a week, i went with my wife and teenage boys, we love Rocco Mammas in South Africa, been to several. We Found tables where left unclean (even though clients where waiting for seating) with staff standing around, we finally got someone to clean a table, after we had been 10 minutes standing around ourselves, then proceeded to order the usual way, easy. After 45 minutes my family's meals arrived, nothing for me. 20 minutes later mine arrived. For the record, it looked like the patty had been on the grill for the whole hour....!!!!

I bite into this shriveled, Grilled-to-death thing after the scrutiny, to my utter disappointment.

I requested the Store Manager, whom i asked if she had ever actually eaten a Rocco Mamma's burger as made in RSA, she said no. (The Manager of a branch?????)

i then asked how long they are supposed to cook the patties for, again had no idea. Did the patties come from RSA or made local?, She said RSA, so burger patty quality shouldn't be an issue, I then asked if they had been instructed/trained correctly?, she said the Lusaka RM's people hade come for 1 days training of Kitwe personnel.

So if the Manager has no idea, and 1 days opening/training, i can understand why this franchise will bomb-out soon. Which is a shame as I really enjoy the Cheese/Jalapeño bombs......

Update Feb-22; I requested, from a friend, their experience at eating at RM's Kitwe, as I may have overinflated my expectations perhaps?, or maybe it was Opening-Week-Incompetence problems, turns out, People in their group ended up sick that evening.

I see the place has barely any customers each time i pass. which is a shame.....We definitely wont be returning to Rocco Mamma's Kitwe...

I recently stopped by RocoMamas at Mukuba Mall in Kitwe, and I was genuinely impressed. The place has a really cool, upbeat vibe that makes it perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or even just treating yourself. I went for one of their smashburgers, and it absolutely delivered—juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. You can tell they take pride in how they prep their burgers. I also tried the cheesy fries and a milkshake, and both were honestly worth the hype. The portions are generous, and everything felt super satisfying without going over the top.

The service was friendly and helpful—shoutout to the team for being attentive even when the place was a bit busy. I liked that the staff stayed upbeat, and my order didn’t take too long to come out. The music and energy in the restaurant added to the experience, making it feel lively without being too loud. It’s also great that they sometimes run promos—makes it easier to enjoy a full meal without worrying too much about the price.

All in all, RocoMamas Kitwe is a solid spot if you’re into bold, flavorful burgers and a fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back, and I’d recommend it to anyone in the area who’s looking for a satisfying, casual meal with a bit...

Tried out again RocoMamas Zambia this time in kitwe. On arrival, the waitress greeted friendly and showed me to my table. I ordered for starters, the Feta Bombs and Coco Cola. They have different qty options, and since i never tried them, i ordered the 3 bombs (which i actually regret because they are dam nice. Crispy outside and warm, juicy cheesy inside with the perfect seasoning. The side sauce is okay. Perhaps adding a little bit of fresh parsley will give it that extra nice taste, I preferred eating the bombs alone. Next, I ordered their current special Trippy Hermano Burger. Dam, it was a big, juicy, saucy, soft, fresh homemade bun with nachos with a kick of chili. Perfectly well seasoned smashed patty. The sauce mixed with mince was defined. The whole combination was excellent. If I had a big stomach, I would have ordered x 2 of each product, I even eating it slow, not finish it too quickly. Rococomamas has definitely improved in their customer service, food quality, and taste since my last visit and review. Was this worth K261? Definitely yes
