Olga's - The Italian Corner — Restaurant in Southern Province

Okay so first thing that hit me when I saw this place, Shoestrings 2.0!!! Food, Alcohol and Rooms but that's where the comparison ends. The ambience is quite good. I had Pizza twice after a suggestion by my good old boss and my suggestion if you like and grew up with your food well seasoned ask for salt and pepper but if you have Italian taste buds don't worry 😂. Both occasions were good and also their ravioli is quite good with some extra salt. Now as for the rooms, well they are quite affordable and nice but I don't advise you to stay here if you want to "sleep sleep". The lodge is right close to the turning point of trucks on the main road and when they start streaming in at 2:00am you will definitely regret it unless you have someone to keep you company once you wake up. The worst is to 1 which is right by roadside but even when I moved to the further section it was still evident (the noise) then on Sunday morning there is a church close by so prepare to have a loud clank go 💥 around 6 am and you say good bye to your sleep. So overall good place but not best place to sleep if you are tired, more of a place to crash. Nice...

We were here for about four nights to see Victoria Falls and do some other excursions. Pros include comfortable bed, lots of hot water and great water pressure in the shower, and dinner just put steps away from your room. Cons include music coming from across the street from the parking lot until all hours of the night which is fairly loud and seems to channel down the rooms. And a built-in alarm clock at 6 AM with the church tower going off gonging the bell literally 35 times. Each. And. Every. Morning. If you need to be up by 6 AM then maybe you can move this into the pro category. And, as a bonus, you won’t even need to set your alarm!||The property is well-known and in a very convenient location. Restaurants across the street at the shopping center and a grocery store as well. Other eateries and shops all around the place. Would not hesitate to stay here again. ||One thing I wish management would do is figure out how to provide a little more lighting overall in the main room. It was very nice that there was a safe in the room to keep things that we didn’t...
