Great huge park! If you keep going past the splash pad there is a creek! And there is access to it with little trails. It's really pretty. There are over 10 picnic tables and benches surrounding the park and a concrete path all the way around the park. The splash pad closes at 5 pm on Sat and Sunday and they do have two staff members in the splash pad area to enforce the rules, they did today when we went which is a Saturday. It was very crowded! So I recommend getting there when it opens at 11. We got there at 3 and it was packed! They also have a huge pavilion towards the creek area and a playground with swings. I didn't get any pictures of the playground because we didn't even play on it. All over pleasant experience.

This is one of many Smyrna parks, this one is mostly known for it's summer time splash pad for young children. There is no fee to enter the splash pad with restroom facilities on site, plenty of parking but limited seating available. Metal benches scattered throughout the park, a few picnic tables as well. Bringing your own camping chair would be a good move, maybe even a big picnic blanket as well, lots of shade to set up under. A small paved walking trail loops the entire park, moderately used daily when the weather is nice, a few inclines throughout, but inclines are not drastic. There is a big pavilion with more seating but not close enough to the splash pad if you have kids there.

I stopped by this park on a random Wednesday morning. There were hardly any other people there This is a great park for a stroller walk. The paved trail is .06 miles long according to the signs. The path ends abruptly and doesn’t form a loop so you could accidentally end up on the road or on the sidewalk. There’s tons of parking space and it was clean. Lots of seating There’s a basketball hoop in one of the parking lots, but this would not be a good place to play a game. The water park was closed for the season which makes sense for November and as someone else mentioned before, there’s no regular park but a lot of green space. There’s also a way to walk down to the creek.

Nice little, clean park. You can walk around it (paved) and it's fairly easy. There are picnic tables, many seats, clean bathrooms, and a little water area where kids can run under a water bucket. I think it's called a "splash pad" where kids/their parents can run under the water. There are areas you can BBQ and there's even a big swing where 2-4 people can sit. There's also a wooded area where you can sit/walk by the creek (no swimming though). There is disabled parking, a basketball area (part of the parking lot) and you can take dogs on a leash.

It has been a few years since I visited the park and time has been good to this little hidden jem in Smyrna, weather you want to take your kiddos to the splash pad at the front or go on a leisurely stroll with the love of your life on the walking trail or if your adventurous like my fiance and I and venture off the beaten path and walk along the creek. It will be worth every minute you spend there.
