I pulled up into a barely lit parking lot with scarce parking availability, could not even see the Roma pizza sign because the lighting is out but they have a rinky dink open sign in the window. Walked in to an empty store with a trash can that was billowing over with pizza boxes. The store looked dusty and old. When a staff member finally approached me I asked if he was alone and he said yes, so I forgave the long wait time. I told him that I had placed a mobile order on Uber eats and gave him my name. It took him some time to locate my food but once he did I told him that I would have to check my order for accuracy and he asked if I worked for Uber eats, I said yes I do but this is my personal order. I checked my food and everything was right but the salads that came with the pasta. On uber eats the house salad is green olives, black olives, tomatoes, onions and mozzarella cheese, I requested no onion, add bacon and feta cheese, I understood that there might be an uncharge, just like with the raspberry pecan salad, I didn't want the chicken, the most expensive item, just the pecans, feta and mandarin oranges. This has never been an issue in the past, it let me know that they just didn't read my notes and gave me anything. The description stated romaine lettuce, I received brown iceberg lettuce and none of the additional dressings that I requested. I'm assuming that the man that crawled out of the back office to listen in on me requesting my correct salads from the employee that previously told me that he was by himself was the manager. If he is, he is a terrible one because why is your employee out here handling the whole store alone and why are you arguing with customers? He came up to me telling me he can't make my side salads without charging me extra which was already understood by me so I felt like he was accusing me of trying to get something for nothing. After stating that, that was fine and what most establishments do is just add the uncharged to the Uber order, he said that he didn't do that because he could only add so much that's when I preceded to question his intentions. I asked how much could adding feta and bacon be to a house salad and pecans, feta and mandarin oranges to lettuce be and he kept adding things on the calculator. Apparently what their actual house salad includes and what Uber eats says it includes are different and instead of listening to me and having open communication he proceeded to talk over me, go back and forth with me and essentially argue with me about what came on the salads. He admitted that he was unaware of Uber's descriptions of the products and whether or not they were accurate, which according to him, they are not. I informed him that it is his job as the establishment owner to make sure that the product descriptions and prices are correct, not go back and forth with the customer on why you can't fulfill her order based on what she read on a third party app, that you choose the use as a way for customers to place their orders. I also told him that he shouldn't put leafy romaine when he clearly uses old browned iceberg lettuce. If I wasn't hungry I would've requested an entire refund for the terrible customer service but as it stands I just gave him back his wilted salads and took my pastas. They were delicious despite the horrible service. This store just needs to close down, they are clearly overwhelmed, understaffed and...
Read moreStaying at Laquinta Inn in Smyrna, TN. Doordash delivered order that was placed through Roma's web site. Order was about an hour late. COLD. Delivery lady couldn't run from door fast enough, was apologizing for being late. Well, Roma Manager refused responsibility even though he admitted the door dash driver stood around for at least "10 minutes" after picking up order. Roma's refuses to take any responsibility. Manager is a piece of work doing all he can to not be a Manager. AND, even though the lasagna was cold, it was so overloaded with sauce it was gross. I requested refund, of which the Manager refused to honor and told me to call Door Dash, however he could not give me their contact information. Guess I am out $41 for cold food delivered late as Manager will not step and be a Manager. DO NOT ORDET FROM ROMA'S. THEIR FOOD IS NOT GOOD, MANAGER IS NOT A MANAGER. AND I OUT $41, even though the front desk at the hotel recommended Roma's. I will visit with person at front desk to not recommend them again....
Read moreFirst of all. I love romas pizza any other day.. we ordered carryout and we were told it would take 16 mins to make. With no business what's so ever inside the store and both delivery drivers in the store the whole time we were there.. we waited a good 25 to 30 mins for our pizza .. The worker that seemed to be a manager female lady there didn't seem to want to serve us. Then we get a crush orange soda that is expired from Dec of last year. She tells us to get another one and they are all the same. Expired .. ew. When we get our pizza we ask for parmesan cheese. We get one packet of cheese with two large pizzas. That we paid for. We ask for some more she gives us one more packet and says that's all . No more . We charge for 1 packet ! Of parmesan cheese?! I know that's not right. Then we get home and attempt to enjoy our pizza and our night when my husband finds a hair on the pizza... And both of the pizzas looked burnt on the crust. Unbelievable. Nasty . Horrible service....
