China Tokyo — Restaurant in Smyrna

In an effort to try the different Chinese restaurants in the area, this one came up last night. I ordered the General Tso's chicken,some Wonton soup, the fried pork wonton appetizer and a spring roll. Writing this out makes me realize I am a pig, as I was dining solo. Anyway, the speed of service and ease of ordering online were both great. Spring roll and friend wontons were both tasty as expected. The chicken tasted very good, but there wasn't any extra sauce in the dish for the rice to use, as I am accustomed to at other such locations. The wonton soup had a good flavor, but there was something strange with the wontons. It's almost like they were kinda slimy in the middles. Maybe creamy. Either way, not anything I was expecting or would choose to pursue again. Overall, it was good with a hint of oddities, rather like myself. Do with this what you will. I am not here to per- or dissuade you. I'm just here because Lord Google told me to be. ...

Would love to give a 5 for food and service and price .... All great. The building and cleanliness were lacking. I don't expect the build out for Chinese fast food to be elegant, but please give everything a good cleaning, dusting, fresh paint....

And Please fix the bathroom. It was well below average. I mean the hand soap was watered down, the ceiling fan didn't work, and their was a weird wooden box that kind of surrounded the back of the toilet... No telling what kind of germs are in that wood with no paint to seal the surface....

Food was terrible . The rice we ordered was supposed to have been fried rice but was left over steamed rice from lunch as well as the meat and the vegetables were not crisp and fresh. It had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. With most of their business being carryout or delivery they can get by without serving freshly cooked meals unless you dine in and eat it immediately people don't notice the difference... The hot sour soup was very good however. Again the reheated fried up steam rice was inedible . Please stirfry you entrees fresh ! Service was great. Very friendly...
