Went here with my multi-generational family. We weren’t expecting much in terms of roses (it was early Oct) but were pleasantly surprised. Not only was it full of roses, there were a lot of great places to walk around and explore (just don’t wear white because your shoes and clothing will get a red dust from the rocks on them!). My Argentine in-laws thought the park was beautiful as did my toddler son. I’d definitely return and rent a boat in the future.
As is the case with most BsAs parks I’ve seen so far, you can’t walk or sit on the grass which is kind of annoying but it does mean the park looks extra perfect.

The garden boasts over 18,000 rose bushes, each adding vibrant color and a delightful fragrance to the air. Highlights include the Poets' Garden, featuring busts of literary legends, and the elegant pergolas draped with climbing roses.
Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or just seeking tranquility, El Rosedal is a must-visit. It’s free to enter and best enjoyed in spring when the roses are in full bloom. Don't miss it when in...
Read moreEl Rosedal or the Rose Garden is the heart of the Tres de Febrero park. It was created in 1914 by the landscaper Carlos Thays. The area around the garden and in particular the wide open paved loop that loops around the lake is one of the preferred places in the city for exercise. You can cycle, run, roller blade or just walk the loop. You can also hire 'pedalos' here as well so you can take a leisurely boat trip out on the lake if you want to. There is also the poets garden complete with busts of famous poets, a beautiful white pergola bridge and of course the rather large...
