It was my first ever visit to oversea country Australia 🇦🇺 in 2015, still it feels refreshing to look back to those wonderful moments that I came across during my stay in this beautiful country. Visiting a country can be memorable for anyone but got sponsored from ICSSR,New Delhi, all through the way from Home to destination Australia was special. -apart from attending, participating the conference International Convention of Asian Scholars at Adelaide Convention Centre at Adelaide, having delivered an Oral presentation on my research topic, attended cocktail party, got invited for Lord Mayoral Party by Mayor of Adelaide was something made this Trip so special and unforgettable. Apart from academic achievement visiting casino 🎰 (conference organisers provided us with 10 dollar 💵 Australian coupon to play and I made 150 dollar out of it), Zoo, Adelaide University, Library, Art gallery, museums, Local market, Variety of cuisine (Continental and sun-continental), Australian chocolate 🍫, wine 🍷 above all of these North Indian cousins, ice skating, beach 🏖....are unforgettable

What a beautiful building and such an elegant venue to hold events! Functional rooms are available for cooperate events. Have been here few times and it has been a great experience every time! Saturday (12th August 2023) saw it with a Military Parade/Ceremony in front of the town hall! Personnel from 10th / 27th Battalion of the Royal South Australian Regiment exercised their "Freedom of Entry" Freedom of Entry is an honour given by the city to a military unit, in recognition of their exceptional service to the community!! What a spectacle! It was so nice to see this military ceremony in front of the town hall!

Absolutely gorgeous venue both inside and out. Has obviously been operating ( + maintained) at the highest of standards. Attended a ticketed dancing event and could not fault ANY part of the night. Everything from the neat and tidy, well presented staff ( including bar, security & even someone inside the main entrance to welcome and direct guests) ; to a broad range of beverages available to purchase. ( Slightly inflated prices but on par with comparable venues) ; Utilities were clean, modern, and above average expectation. DEFINITELY WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE EVENTS HERE 10 OUT OF 10!!

Came to an Adelaide festival event. A string quartet who were very good. Seats were comfortable but limited space between your knees and the chair in front of you. The male toilet was ????? The hot air to blow your wet hands after washing is between the urinal and a sit down toilet. Very bizarre. So you are standing behind one person whilst blocking the male coming out of their cubicle.

The atmosphere is otherworldly! They couldn't have picked a better venue for the Candlelight concert than the iconic Adelaide Town Hall. Whenever the musicians begin to play, I get chills. The only disadvantage is that you can only film at the very finish. It would be fantastic if we could record anytime the artists perform our favourite tune.

A timeless and classically stylish hall, wonderful for events and perfect for concerts. Acoustics and the old organ and gorgeous and the second tier offers a good view of the stage as well, although there are a few columns. Photos from the Candlelight Concert series but chandeliers keep the hall well-lit at other times.
