Randomly walked past this Cafe and was immediately attracted by the amazing smell of garlic, pizzas etc. The menu is quite extensive but we decided on the spaghetti marinara and spaghetti gamberi. The portion sizes were deceiving due to them being presented in a large bowl but they were actually the perfect portion size. The spaghetti gamberi had a good amount of prawns (8-9) and the marinara had a nice variety of prawns, mussels and squid. They have either dried chilli flakes or chilli oil which really added to the dishes. It would be good if there were fresh chillies as an option too. There are various types of seating available and the private booths look great! Love the chandeliers too. We saw many meals come past us and they all looked well presented and very tasty. There is also a huge selection of cakes, biscuits etc. Hope to back there again before we leave Adelaide. I will highly recommend this place to my friends and family :)

I've walked passed so often and finally had the chance to visit. (Middle of the fringe season, so I was kinda lucky). Before I ordered I looked at the reviews and wasn't sure what to think. My review won't help either. In reality it's a 3 star review, pretty basic menu at pretty high prices, good drinks selection. Good atmosphere, and I gave it an extra star because we were served quite quickly in the crazy period. We had 2 small pizzas, a glass of wine, a glass of coke and a beer $74. Was the pizza perfect? No. It wasn't bad, but there are nearby restaurants who sell bigger and better for less. Thank you for a lovely night, will have to pop by for more wine and maybe some chips (they looked so good, I wish i ordered some)

Since I have been given no reply to my email I'll share my experience here.. On tuesday the 1st of January at 8:25pm i made a delivery order direct from The Cafe Brunelli Application. I was given no estimated time of delivery until after ordering and paying, i was then shocked to see a 75min wait time on my order. Having been given the option i would have cancelled the order. After waiting over an hour i rang your restaurant and was told my order was "being delivered" after another 25 minutes of waiting i had to ring 5 times before someone answered: they laughed and then remained silent. I had to ring again to recieve a response. The employee then told me my order will be there soon and that they will ring the delivery driver and get back to me. After waiting 10 more minutes, and receiving no return call, i tried to ring 6 more times with no answer. The food eventually arrived at 10:15pm. 1 hour and 50 mins following the acceptance of our order. In addition, my partners meal, a sorentina Gnochi contained a small amount of meat and penne pasta in it, and a disgusting amount of oil, leading her to throw it away. I expected so much more from Brunelli's as i have dined in your restaurant many times and have otherwise had positive experiences.

Cafe Brunelli is a large bustling, unsophisticated, order at the counter, high customer turnover, mall style establishment. Some out of town friends and I stumbled into the cafe when we were dropped off at Rundall St after a long field day excursion. Despite being cramped around the table we did enjoy chatting loudly over ‘millionaire’ (seafood) and salami pizzas which were good with a thin crisp base and the right amount of topping. There were some reasonable wines to choose from and a variety of traditional Italian deserts. Basically, if you want a quick, reasonably priced, Italian meal with no frills and minimal table service then Cafe Brunelli shouldn’t disappoint - unless you wish to dine alone! I noticed that they discouraged lone diners from entering inside but directed them to the outdoor tables. I guess they didn’t want any wasted table space inside.

Took kids out for city night out. Couldn’t decide were to go for dinner. We found this place from our hotel stay room window. Very good outdoor sitting as well as inside. We tried pan fried chorizo with olive and ciabatta bread. It was very nice. We have decided to try some gourmet pizza. So we ordered yiros pizza and garlic bread Pizza and a couple of kids meal. Overall it was ok experience with very very large selection of food. Kids meal were well portions with fair price. Kids loved Spaghetti Bolognese. Garlic bread pizza was missing softness and it was bit dry. Yiros pizza has too much garlic yoghurt sauce on top, so we couldn’t taste main ingredients (chicken and lamb) at all. Service was quick. I would like to suggest to minimize the menu options as it has lots of choices. Ambiance was good but it was bit dark inside. Table was bit sticky too.

Negative experience at Brunelli. The cashier got our dessert wrong even though I read the name of the cakes I wanted from a picture I took from the dessert display. The person serving was rude and dismissive. I repeated our ordered and even point at the display. She told us that we had ordered the wrong thing even though the labels were clearly stated. I need to pay extra $2 for the cakes that I wanted at the beginning. I'm not being a Karen here but I'm sure i'm not at fault here. So paid the $2, the cakes were hard and lacking flavour. Overall disappointed by the poor service and lack of attention to detail regarding the labelling. I would not recommend the dessert to others.
