If you are a cricket fan it is a must visit. I was lucky enough to play on it and although we got beat, it was still an honour to walk out where the Don did all those years ago. The museum and field are a special place. Like cricket's own Field of Dreams.

Dropped into Bowral today Easter Saturday. Went to Bradman oval for a look. Very well looked after ground and a game about to be played. Families allowed on the field but not the pitch obviously seeing they will be playing soon.

It was lovely to share a ground so steeped in cricketing history with my children. To show them Sir Donald Bradman's statue and then to have a game on the very ground he first played on at 12 years of age.

We went to the Bowral Christmas Carol's. Parked within half a klm of venue. Plenty of room to set up a spot for our family. Long queues for sausage sizzle, a bit shorter for ice creams. We were there for about one and a half hours but the weather was turning decidedly cool to cold. Members of our party were too cold to stay so we came home. Sorry to miss the main part of the evening. We had taken warm clothing but it wasn't enough to keep the...

Picturesque Bradman Oval in Bowral is a beautiful venue for cricket. It has pristine, well maintained grounds lined with white pick fence and surrounded by flowering shade trees is a must visit place in Bowral. The adjacent Sir Don Bradman Museum is a must see for all cricket tragics. The Cafe at the museum has good facilities...
