The pearls were so little and soft and the milk tea was quite diluted and flavourless. The staff were so slow when taking the orders. When I wanted to pay in card, they didn’t had the machine working and it’s fine, sometimes they are like that. When I paid in cash, they gave me a hand full of 10 cent coins and the staff was full on grabbing my hand so I don’t drop the coins. Yea I get that there’s a lot of coins but no need for the touch? Especially in this covid time. They also didn’t have the number receipt machine working that day. The line was also so long because the staff were taking so long to make the orders. I get it if it’s a few trainees but all of them were slow. This is my first time giving a review and honestly had quite a bad experience. Hope there would be an improvement.
Edit: I looked through the reviews because I felt quite sus about the high 4.1 star, found out that they tell customers to leave 5 star reviews for a free upsize, meaning that the reviews were biased and not valid. Very...
Read moreAt about 1:30pm today I got a gong cha. Came across the worst customer service from two girls working. The girl taking my order couldn’t be any more unenthusiastic to be there. I asked her if I could get a matcha with strawberry syrup and pearls. She told me they didn’t have any left so I said ok which flavours do they have and she told me all the ones she didn’t have. Then continued to get annoyed at me once I asked which ones she does. She mentions the flavours then I said “just the mango one please. She looked at her co-worker and the she said sorry what do you want?? I was like mango syrup… she said “that’s just weird tho” sorry what?!!!! I said never mind just give me an matcha she didn’t ask for any ice or sugar selections fully just dismissed me. Anyway I’ve never met more unhappy rude staff and I went out of my way to be nice and it was not reciprocated....
Read moreWhere is the basic customer service skills of the customer is always right. Will never be coming back here again and will tell other people to avoid this place. I ordered bubble tea today and walked away, I went to open my drink and accidentally dropped it on the floor. I took a photo of the spill and went back to gong cha and apologised and explained what happened and asked for a replacement. The woman working there laughed and refused to replace it saying once it’s sold it can’t be replaced. I zoomed into the picture showing the entire herbal jelly on the floor and asked for a replacement herbal jelly into the drink. She again refused and said all she can do is seal the drink again. If you go anywhere else, they would replace it straight away. It’s just a drink, i don’t understand why it couldn’t be replaced. Shocked and laughing at how silly this...
