We had Justine from Dickis cater our cocktail style reception for our wedding on Friday. The food was absolutely amazing and we got so many compliments all night. The non-vegans couldn't believe it was all vegan, they were all asking where the restraunt was so they could try it again.

Justine was very helpful in the lead up with letting us know how much food was needed for our guests to be full and she brought extra with her in case people needed more. We had a taste testing at the Ascot venue early on and just loved the food so much. We had also wanted the catering to be as sustainable as possible so Justine helped to style the menu so we wouldn't need as many single use utensils etc

The catering included serving staff on the night and they were just the loveliest people. So helpful and friendly! They even fixed my wife and I a plate of food each as they could see we weren't getting to eat while we were socialising too much.

We didn't have to think about a thing on the night. The food just started rolling out (I didn't even see them get to the venue) and then everything was cleaned up and packed away just as smoothly.

We also had a cake included in the catering and it was so gorgeous! Such a beautiful centre piece on the night. Guests were also raving about the cake and asking to take some home later.

RESPONSE TO OWNER 16/1/25: dropped you to a 1-star due to your disingenuous response. When you state that your "staff are always happy to serve", they certainly were NOT happy to serve, none of them were, despite us waiting patiently. It was not just one person.

In regard to the food here's the feedback, LEARN HOW TO COOK! I recall it was meant to be mushrooms we ordered but were delivered straw on toast with a heart disease level of salt. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. If someone had actually asked us when we paid the bill "how was your meal?" (as is common in most reputable dining establishments) we would have shared our feedback in person. You have staffing issues that you need to sort out. DO NOT PUT THIS ON YOUR CUSTOMERS. You can tell the boss is away, went this morning, ignored despite the place being almost empty, finally got a table, ignored, ignored, ignored…left. Brilliant vegan options and the service was impeccable. We booked a table for 4 people online late Saturday night and our booking was confirmed in the morning. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the products available. The range of food options was incredible for the various dietary requirements in our party, which consisted of lactose and gluten intolerance including a nut allergy. It's rare that we all find a place to cater for all of us! The quality of food and drink options were high and we will definitely be back. We finished our food at different times and different staff would often clear our table because they might've been walking past, or come over to check if we needed anything. It was a really nice atmosphere to relax in while we caught up with each other. Highly recommend even if you're not vegan!...
