We popped into Grinstead Park on the weekend – me and four of my mates – and it turned out to be a pretty decent little outing. The park isn’t massive, but there’s enough room to spread out without feeling cramped. We grabbed a picnic table under the shade and just chilled for a few hours. There’s a small playground, but we didn’t bother with that. What I liked was that it wasn’t overly busy, and there were still families around, so the vibe was friendly. Adjacent to the park is a "street" futsal field which includes basketball hoops and side bars in case anyone brings nets for volleyball, badminton, and tennis. There is a food van that comes often so water and food is easily accessible in the car park. There are also toilets and bubblers making it even more convenient given why I gave it 5 stars....
