Great park with plenty of space and good shade. There is a small car park off Pullen road with disabled parking and ample parking along Pullen and Osbourne Rd. There are wide concrete pathways leading from the car park to the disabled toilets playground and picnic tables. There is a 1/2 court basketball court, table tennis table, large open spaces for touch footy/soccer/frisbee/cricket ect.., A great well designed and equipped playground as well for all ages of kids. There are BBQ facilities, tap water, several covered picnic tables and benches of different sizes as well. There is a girl guide/scout den and a soccer club nearby not to mention direct access to the Kedron Brook bikeway. The kicker if you have read this far is every Friday night there is Wood Fired Pizza takeaway that does a fantastic regular and gluten free pizza, some of the best I’ve ever had!!! This was my my favorite park in inner city until I discovered Bancroft Park in Kelvin Grove in 2017 😀 Very unfortunately I stopped going with my little dog because of reports of an unsavory element approaching women in 2017 ———
There is so much space. It has large playing fields surrounded by more land and the brook. It is fantastic to be able to walk in the inner city in such a large park. Thankfully not a lot has been changed in the 12 years since I discovered it!
