Carpe Diem Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The star is because it won’t let me post the review without it. To be honest, the cafe is an infection control nightmare. The young lad who prepared both my orders, wiped his hands on his t-shirt, rubbed his nose with his right hand, scratched his head and then fondled the paper straw at the top where the customer would drink from, all without using the alcohol hand rub or washing his hands at any stage. I asked the lady attending for an ICED SOY Latte. The first time I asked for it, I got a Chai latte on Soy. When I asked again for what I wanted (an iced soy latte), the lady was going to make in full cream, I said again 'on soy, please'. She still made an ice chai latte on soy. Do they have something with chai?? So now, I got home with two coffees and do not really drink any because I do not drink chai. When ur having 2 pieces of white toast with jam and butter .. I expected I will have at least 2 pieces of packet butter and 2 pieces packet strawberry jam ..
