Came here the other day to finally try this place as been looking forward to it, food was overpriced for what it is. Had to request lotus chips that are advertised with chicken burger - which the place probably needs to adjust on their menu as I was told it is just ONE lotus chip that comes with it. Staff all seem pretty miserable and like their life is being sucked right out of them from being here. We gave it a second chance and came here for tea and cake this afternoon. We would usually share a pot of tea between two people but when ordering was advised itās $4 per cup of tea. So I said fine we would have 1 pot of tea but two cups. Also tried to order a take away iced coffee for daughter but was told they donāt have take away cups as they are a sustainable cafe , this I usually wouldnt mind but they have take away cups on display on their counter and behind them all the milkshake cups are TAKEAWAY CUPS. No idea what their interpretation of sustainable is. Also the elderly woman (assuming possibly owner) is the most miserable piece of work you could come across. The whole time in line waiting I watched her and not once did she smile after she served 4 customers before me, when I ordered I also asked what the cakes available were - as there is not one single sign in the glass cabinet. She acted as if I had asked for her first born child. A waitress then brought out our order, surprise surprise - 2 pots of tea come out. I advised the girl we only ordered one pot , she said she would get us a refund. I have now been sitting here for over half an hour and she has not returned. Not even with an explanation let alone the refund.
This place is severely poorly run and the food is average at best, service definitely drags it down. Funny as they have a sign in cafe that reads GOOD VIBES ONLY.. yet all staff fail to actually show any signs of good vibes,
Do yourself a favor and donāt bother wasting your money at a place like this. The staff over at the cafe in front of Target are much welcoming and friendly and theyā are more than happy to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is absolutely unfriendly disability environment! Staff are very difficult and not friendly/helpful at all.
I and my client who lives with disability, always have a coffee at Peacock&Peony every time we go to Brookside shopping center every Friday. Our order always values over $50. We usually dine in and order at the same time but not today. I ordered 5 minutes later after my client had her coffee and blueberry muffin. I ordered chilli chicken burger, with chips and ice coffee. Because we were running out of time so I had to take them away instead of dine in. I told your staff my table number, they said that they donāt do TAKEAWAY AT TABLES . šÆšÆšÆš¤š¤š¤itās so weird. They asked me to wait at the counter to take it. I explained that I have a person who is disable with me and I can not leave them alone. I explained twice. They donāt care/listen. It took more than 30ā to make my order and I were running between my clientās table where sheās having her meal and the counter 3 times to check out my food.
I prefer to go further 2 minutes down to give another cafe a go rather than staying with you. Absolutely poor customer service and not flexible at all!
P/S: when we are placing our order, i told staff my table number, she said the table was booked! We explained that We didnāt see anything marked/noted says āreservations ā. when she brought the food to my table, she left a note with ā reservations ā on our table. We looked at each other and wondering what happens to customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy grandmother is on a motorised verchile and couldn't park within the cafe. We asked to have it taken out to us as we were just outside the cafe. They said they couldn't and just kinda looked at me and I was confused so I said "well do you want us to leave or?" and then they were like "oh we can do takeaway" so I said alright and got the coffee. About '20' minutes later they still hadn't brought it out so I went in and checked. I thought it had been thirty minutes and they were like "it's been twenty" and I was like ok I don't agree then they said aggressivly "it's on the docket". They had already been inconsiderate about my grandmother who literally can't get inside the cafe then aggressive about the wait time. After all the hassle they brought out her food on a normal plate. Like why was there such a problem? And why did brusecta take over twenty minutes. Will never go back.
Edit: after this reply for owners you can see the rudeness this cafe has. They said a 15 minute wait so that's a straight up lie. Second of all the "lease" was not explained to ME AT ALL. The seat they offered was in an awkward position and if my grandma had parked there it would have been half way in front of the next shop over plus it was hard to park there with a table right next to it (Scotters are big and hard to park as well as my grandma not being confident) The absolute rudeness and straight audacity of this cafe. They literally lied in this response, had a go at me. Please...
