I've been here twice in the last 2 months (Oct and Nov 2013) with a group of 7 and then 8, including a 10 year old, a 3 year old, and a 15 month old. Both times we were greeted warmly, seated and served quickly and attentively. The service here was more than excellent. Food to table time was the fastest I've ever experienced. The food is openly offered to be served as a shared arrangement which really keeps the cost down. The large group tables even have a large lazy susan in the middle to serve from, awesome! The food is always fresh and HOT, some of the dishes are served with a heating candle beneath them to keep them hot, fantastic! Kids are very much welcome here and highchairs are available which we used. Our little one makes a big mess and I always apologise but they always make us feel very welcome. We took our own bottle of bubbly and their corkage fee is the cheapest I've come across. The food here is simply superb! You will not be disappointed at this restaurant!

Read moreWe used to make a 100km round trip to eat at the Marlston Chinese, but unfortunately they have recently been taken over, and it's just not the same. the prawn noodle soup used to have the most beautiful prawn stock base, now it's the same ubiquitous, tasteless stock used for all their noodle soups, and despite the waitress telling us that the menu hadn't changed, once we had sat down and opened a bottle of wine we found the beef rendang - the only reason my wife wanted to eat there - was no longer to be seen. Crab rolls hadn't seen a crab in their lives and were absolutely tasteless, like eating deep fried cotton wool. Servings were huge, but quantity doesn't beat quality, and the quality was poor. Why is it that every time a restaurant changes hands it changes for the worse? The same thing happened to the Rose Hotel, and now we can't eat there either. But looking on the bright side, it means we don't have to visit...
Read morePrice are reasonable. As the only authentic Chinese foodies of the night,we can see the chef and waitresses are striving to achieve above the average. They didn't expect so many guests tonight. Please Forget about the fruit fancy cut the owner uploaded here. . We arrived at the peak hour dinner time 6:30pm. Prawn crackers and water are served immediately. Entrees are served in 15mins. While we are waiting, kids took a walk at the jetty. Mains are cooked in rich favor. If the chef can reduce the salt and MSG,I will give them one more 🌟. If they can put more staffs on Xmas school holidays, the service can win 1 one 🌟.
We saw the waitress girls are working really hard but because they're obviously under staff,we went to top up our tea pot ourselves.
Well, this restaurant is worthy to try if you don't mind the high salt diet or only try it once a blue moon. Make sure you ask for...
