Tuggeranong Arts Centre — Attraction in District of Tuggeranong

Tuggeranong Community Arts Association was incorporated on 13 March 1990, operating out of local community centers until the Arts Centre was built in 1998.

For more than 25 years, the Tuggeranong Community Arts Association has delivered artistic programs and events, with a focus on participation and accessibility, and helped shape a sense of pride in the local community.

Embracing the Valley’s broad array of artistic interests, the Arts Centre presents a vibrant program of activities – engaging professional and community artists alike, cultivating a unique creative personality for Tuggeranong.

Its dynamic youth programs continue to develop the skills, outlook and cultural awareness of young people in the Tuggeranong region and beyond.

The centre is principally funded through a triennial agreement with the ACT Government’s arts funding agency, artsACT, and also draws funds from a variety of other government agencies and...

I performed with my sextet Hammerhead at this great intimate space on Sat September 13th as part of 'The Jazz Haus Canberra' at The Tuggeranong Arts Centre. We absolutely loved the intimacy of the theatre, the incredible acoustics, Cassidy Buxton and her amazingly friendly staff, but above all the audience...This was probably the best audience we have played for ever. We had a wonderful time performing there and would play there again in a heartbeat..The Q & A after the show was also very special and fascinating to answer questions from so many devoted jazz fans or otherwise. I get the feeling that people come to this art centre not only because of the band or artist who is performing, but to also support this great local arts centre and what they are doing for the wider community of Tuggeranong and of course Canberra. I can't wait to return and perform there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend highly this wonderful...

At this place I do dance with the company known as Fresh Funk. Fresh funk is a great place for people to express themselves through dance. It's for all ages and for beginners or advanced people. I my self have been dancing there for about 6 years and have enjoyed every moment ❤️. Every year fresh funk does two big shows that always sell out.
