Young lady, it is imperative to maintain a respectful demeanor when interacting with customers. If a customer is treated with condescension, it is unreasonable to expect a different treatment in return. Respect is reciprocal. There are numerous ways to articulate your policies without belittling the customer. It is crucial to discern whether an expletive is directed at you personally or at the situation at hand. In this instance, the phrase “don’t talk to me like I’m Fn idiot” was not a personal attack. Defensive behavior is often a sign of guilt.
For the male staff member who was absent during the incident, it is advisable to gather all the facts before reprimanding a customer for using inappropriate language towards your staff. Understand the reason behind the customer’s outburst before taking action. Do not question the customer’s tone when you initiated the conversation with a raised voice.
If you find yourself unable to win an argument, it is inappropriate to involve the customer’s child and question their parenting skills. Inviting a customer behind your counter is a serious matter. Be cautious about escalating situations and ensure you are prepared to follow through with your threats. Lastly, pressing the duress alarm has zero affect as that is not what it's used for and authorities do not get involved...
Read moreCame in with my partner and ordered 3 drinks left and as we were near home the carton carrying the drinks broke and spilt the drinks, we thought no worries we will just order again on uber eats, once the uber eats person came the exact same issue happened and the carton broke spilling the drinks, the driver still put the order through as delivered and couldn’t get a refund. I went down to cha time to sort it out which the young man at the counter who took both orders was very helpful and remade our orders and was looking to find some coupons to come back in and get free drinks… but that’s when I’m guessing the owner who was sitting across the store was listening and decided that this was not okay and tried stopping this and said he wouldn’t be making new drinks as it fell under “bad luck” and it wasn’t on them to help even though I was out $50. the owner was insisting that I just buy the drinks again. Thankfully the young man still gave me the drinks and a coupon free of charge. Imagine buying something faulty and the shop owner just says bad luck and makes you buy another one….
Can’t fault the young guy and lady that were at the counter but the owner needs his...
Read moreI’ve come here quite a number of times (in the evenings) and just about each time i’ve come, there’s NO STAFF AT THE COUNTER. They are often in the back doing God knows what.
Today I came in, the staff was cleaning as there was no customers, i finished ordering and He just kept cleaning and it took him about 5 mins to actually look at my order and get out my cups and started to add the toppings. But then he went to the back AGAIN, another staff member clocked in and he spent a lot of time talking to her and then they both went to the back. He asked her to finish the orders he barely started and she took a long time to get to my order (she appeared to be cleaning) . Mind you there’s 2 other people waiting in the store. It took about 20mins to get my 2 drinks made….
Only writing this review as this is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this has happened.
I’m only glad that the girl was apologetic for the long wait, but I think the evening staff should be a lot more...
