We love the atmosphere in See park. So pretty and relaxing, especially when the pond fountain is switched on. Lawns are mown, slooes are lively to sit on with a refreshment (if you would like a take-away coffee from the Village Green across the road, please bring your iwn mug!). Our grand-children love the giant Jacaranda Jill which is placed there during the major, annual 8-day Jacaranda festival - end October to end of 1st week in November. Our grand-children love feeding the ducks in the pond when visiting us, and venturing to the top of the 'waterfall' through the trees - Jacaranda Avenue end of park. Also, playing on the equipment. However, not a lot of this equipment is child-friendly, and there is little seating provided for adults supervising children in the playground!! Especially we 'Gran's'. I would strongly suggest that Clarence Valley council install some 'old-time' equipment e.g. a slippery dip, four standard children's and one infant swings....
Read moreI shared a picnic lunch with my wife and 2 daughters, and my father in law for my birthday... the grounds are neatly mowed, if you want to put a blanket on the ground, or there are plenty of tables to choose from. There are some bbq's to cook on, which are fast, free and always clean, under a sheltered area. Toilets there are clean, as clean as one would expect. They have a serviceable pond that has a lot of ducks living in it and a walking path right around to a footbridge that goes over the pond which is good to take photos from. The young ones will be entertained by the various swings and rides and the climbing equipment. I have frequently visited See Park in the 20 years I have lived in Grafton and I have never seen the grass get out of hand or any rubbish that can't be picked up by someone walking past. Take your lunch and a book and have a bit quiet time, or have a birthday party and invite all the family you won't be...
Read moreLove see park! Best place to go with family and friends. There’s a cute playground for the kids, a barbecue area to sit and have lunch. a nice river/pond where all the ducks go to swim. The ducks are super friendly and will waddle over in hopes that someone will give them bread. plenty of benches to sit and listen to the rushing water or watch the fountain that comes up out of the water. There is also a geocaching area there… still haven’t found it myself but still a great amount of fun trying. There’s also a little bridge you can walk across and peer over the water. I personally love the lizards that come to sunbathe but don’t worry they are more scared of us than we are of them so they will scatter off if you ever go near them. Overall a...
