Firstly, we are seniors and we would like to add our voice to the issue of paid parking at Northlakes. We decided to celebrate our anniversary with a date day - movie and lunch. The movie we saw was 2 1/2 hours long followed by lunch. We are Westfield members so we thought we had four hours of free parking. Took our tickets to centre management who told us 4 hours was maximum and they could not add any more time. We had to do some errands and a little grocery shop so we decided to stay and finish instead of having to return on another day. WE NOTED IF WE LEFT THE CENTRE WE COULD NOT RETURN FOR 45 MINUTES.🤬 When we finally finished SUPPORTING many businesses in the centre, we had been in the centre 5 hours. When we went to pay we were charged $12 for 5 hours parking. Rang to question and were told we had to leave the parking lot before 4 hours to get the benefits of the free four hour parking. So in other words your THANKS to us for supporting the many businesses we visited that day was to charge us for 5 hours of parking. I have now thoroughly read the T & C for parking and think that it is not only UNETHICAL but borders on UNCONSCIONABLE CONDUCT, particularly in the current economic environment. We live in one of the best countries in the world so come on Westfield surely you are better than this. WHY can we still not receive our first four hours free and if absolutely necessary be charged for every hour after that? Please do not insult me by "thanking me for my review and stating that Westfields is always looking to improve their customer experience". A year ago your reply to Andy Tillo's negative review was "if you park longer than this time the normal rate does apply with the fifth hour of parking charged at $8". How then have you Westfield improved the parking issues in 12 months by increasing the charge by 50% to $12?? We won't be visiting again soon. And thanks for putting a sour note on our...

There are a few things to say first off the bat.. loads of parking.. in fact there is "to much" as there is a massive open air lot out to one random side that's always empty and its a shame to see so much open space wasted when there's a housing crisis, but enough politics because the mall (or small city) is amazing and arguably hands down one of the best and most accessible one in the south-east with so much variety of stores to visit that actually have realistic priced items that people use at least once a week and also for the big fortnightly trips to stock up! So.. all that aside, it has some amazing, well maintained entertainment areas and facilities that will keep the whole family busy and happy all day very easily! The eatery is amazing as well! (Dan Murphy's gets its own award for its strategically placed location and entry ALWAYS making it easy for me to duck in and out, also-your store staff are amazing 👏 🤩) A solid 5 stars 🌟 for this review, though it was nearly a 4, because of wasted parking buuut the rest makes up for it in the end, and you can thank Dan's for that 😀 P.S....

I went for lunch and to the movies with a friend. Worked out that my free parking would be over just by 10 minutes due to the long movie. Went down to the concierge desk and showed the movie tickets and explained we would be just over and asked if they could add an extra half an hour to my parking. The lady went off at me and my friend she was very rude. She made us feel like we had done something horrible by the way she treated us. She literally yelled at us and ruined the day. It was the first time we had seen each other in a very long time and just ruined it over nothing. Next time we will be going elsewhere if this is how they treat their customers. I wouldn’t have minded if she said no in a nice way but she was just so horrible to us. We went on Saturday the 5th of August it was an older lady with short hair who went off at us literally yelled. Not impressed at all will never return again. This incident occurred around 3pm on Saturday the 5th of august. Two young adults being abused by shopping...

Playground is constantly bombarded with clouds of cigarette fumes from the smoking alley which is located beside it. Revolting. Disgusting. Hard to breathe. Who designed this carcinogenic kid killer? See for yourself (photos attached). UPDATE: Dominic (Westfield Management?) has responded to my feedback and has denied that the smoking area is adjacent to the centre’s children’s playground. See for yourself (photos attached). Obviously he does NOT comprehend that cigarette smoke easily travels over and around a simple wall straight in to the children’s playground. Dominic has also stated that ‘someone may be smoking where they shouldn’t be (the adjacent alley is clearly marked as a ‘DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA’. Or that the smoke may be from a ‘breeze blowing in that direction’ (an outdoor breeze from the designated smoking area/breezeway adjacent to the children’s playground? 🤔🙊). What a perfect example of a large corporation’s blatant attempt at trying to gaslight the public 🚬💨🛝 🫁😮‍💨 🚩🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥

Disability access is important. That’s not just things like disability parking, and self opening doors. It also means having safe walkways that a person can walk through without risk to themselves. Navigating around trolleys, in the wet, is not safe nor accessible for some people. Not to mention the risk to children if they “go around” a trolley out of mum and dad’s reach, in a parking lot where cars are traveling. Woolworths, Target, Coles, Kmart trolleys should not be strewn across the walkways! And Westfield should be taking an active role in maintaining the safety of visitors without saying “oh it’s Woolworths responsibility for their trolleys”. Get some gumption, arrange that the businesses with trolleys share the task of maintaining a safe environment, and make them work together not as five or however many different grounds all separately collecting or stowing just their trolleys. Should be operating a collective trolley program in the interest of customers!
