Paddys Eat & Drink — Restaurant in Kalgoorlie

Every time we come here we order the VEGAN bibambab bowel and every time without fail they add an egg. The last few times they take it away and re make it and its just a frustration but this last time takes the cake. The lady brought it out with the egg and I straight away mentioned that it was NOT vegan. She then proceeded to ask "Did you make sure to specify VEGAN?". Now that is an honest question but the judgemental way she said it really frustrated me. She then took it away and brought back the identical meal with the egg removed and stated "Here is your meal, the embryo has been removed". Now this not only was extremely rude and unprofessional but the rude tone she said it in really topped the cake. Now I'm not a very confrontational person and i said nothing as she walked off but the egg juice had run all through the rice and all over the lettuce. I should have taken it back to be replaced but at this point I just decided not to eat it and left. Very disappointing and I will not be...

I've really only given 2 stars because the service and atmosphere trumped the food that was delivered..

Out of the party of 4, not one of us had anything nice to say about our meals. 2 had salmon which was too dry apparently, 1 had the ribs to which they had trouble sticking a fork into. I had steak, over cooked for what was ordered..

The dollar value to the quality of the food sure didn't match.

I'll happily pay good money for good food but I can promise that not one of us will return to eat here..

The restaurant wasn't overly busy, so to have 4 overcooked meals on ONE table shouldn't be the case..

Staff were happy and friendly which was probably the only good...

It's not easy finding a decent place to eat in Kalgoorlie but this place is brilliant. Fantastic service and atmosphere, kid friendly too if you have kids. Make sure you call up and book as it can get busy. Chilli prawn pasta was very spicy so do beware but delicious and spot on with the flavours. Perfect for those who love a bit of heat. Barramundi was gorgeous! I've never eaten such good Barramundi in my life. Chips and salad were standard, but didn't really care, the Barramundi was the important thing to get right and boy did they get it right! The food came out quick too even though it was busy.
