Located on Terralong Street near the intersection with Shoalhaven Street, a contemporary designed restaurant that has patio doors to the entrance that is often fully opened to bring the outside in feel, Miss Arda welcomes you with warm friendly and helpful staff. There is seating inside and out, though for outdoor seating you will have the street noise and cars parking to contend with. Indoors, you have lovely music to create a great relaxing atmosphere. The menu is simple. It's one A4 page that includes starters, small plates and large plates. Ok, there is a separate drinks menu and dessert menu. The menu appears simple yet the dishes are exquisite in execution. Croquettes are mouth sized balls on a bechamel base topped with finely chopped jalapenos; a crunchy, creamy explosion of flavour with a warm vinegary touch for contrast. The soft Burrata works very well with the sweetness of peaches, along with the punch of balsamic vinegar and crunch of the pepita seeds. Looking for something sophisticated that's full of flavour and wonderfully balanced? Look no further than the lamb kofta. You receive 2 skewers that are moist, tender and so mouthwatering that you will want this dish twice! The accompanying pickles enhance the dish spectacularly. Going for the fish? The barramundi is crispy and delightfully soft. The side dishes are also not forgotten, as the fattosh salad with pita crips are fresh and tangy, perfectly complementing any dishes you have ordered. For dessert, There is a petit fours that includes home made Turkish delight and baklava. However go for the kunafa. It's a delightful cheese dessert that is lightly savoury and sweet, crunchy and gooey all at the same time. This version has a hint of vanilla also. All the dishes are designed for sharing so order a heap and share the oral orgasm experience with your special peeps. This place is worth multiple visits.

Hi all . Went here for dinner .. man was this place good. The food was first class and I'd go back again anytime without hesitation. I has the jalapeno hummus with Turkish bread and warm chilli olives as well as their fries with za'atar salt and toum as an entree, tried wild mushroom risotto which was unbelievable, For the main I had the pomegranate lamb backstrap with ezme and Tahini. I'm not familiar with this dish and the first time I tried it. I told the lamb was nice and juicy cooked well and the sides were good. A little of a burnt taste but that's the way Tahini is supposed to taste I've been told. And now for another main I got to try. The chorizo and prawn dumplings with black garlic and onion sauce. All I can say is WOW. It was the highlight and made me wish I had ordered this. This melted in my mouth the sauce was sweet and its a meal I could of eaten all day every day. Now also their cocktail making skills are excellent as well. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with the restaurant nice warm clean and the staff were friendly and could take a joke. Parking in Kiama was good too. So why have I only given it a 4/5 It's only a small detail but two little minor issues were that cocktail we ordered came way later even though we reminded them and still had to wait and in our mains one of the other people that was with us had their meal come way later after the rest of us had our main meals so a little consistency would make it a little better. Thanks to all who have read this and please take the time to support the small businesses that I go to.

We had a lovely dining experience at Miss Arda on a busy Saturday evening. We were running a little late (15 mins) but were aware of the 90 minute time limit on the early booking. The waitress greeted us at the door and reminded us that the time would start from our booking time not arrival time which was absolutely fair enough. We were seated at a lovely comfortable table near the bar. The restaurant was full and all the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The service was excellent. We did not at all feel rushed and our dishes came out in a relaxed and timely manner. We ordered 2 ‘smalls’, 1 ‘medium’ and ‘1 large’ for 2 of us and were quite satisfied. All of the meals were absolutely delicious!! And beautiful combinations and presentation! We also had time for dessert and coffee. The coffee was perfectly made and the baklava came warm and was some of the best I have ever tasted. The group who was due for the later booking at our table chose to sit outside so we were free to relax a little longer than expected which was lovely! Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming here regularly. It is difficult to find somewhere that’s a little more up market that does does amazing food (and wine) around the place. Thank you Miss Arda and all of your wonderful staff!

When you find yourself in the Kiama, do pay a visit to Miss Arda. The dining experience is centered around the mezze style of eating, is a wonderful way to connect and sample a variety of dishes. The menu at Miss Arda features a splendid array of flavors, each dish telling its own story. The figs are a delightful mix of sweet and savory, the prawns are cooked to perfection, and the burrata is rich and velvety. Not to be missed are the calamari, seasoned with just a hint of sumac, and the chorizo and prawn dumplings, a true highlight of the menu. Ending the meal on a high note, the baklava is crisp and sweet, paired beautifully with a well-brewed cup of coffee. The selection of cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits is thoughtfully chosen to complement the meal. The service is impeccable. Our waitperson had a touch of Dutch charm and a commitment to ensuring a memorable dining experience. The portion sizes are considerate, allowing three guests to savor the journey without feeling overwhelmed. Miss Arda is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that weaves together flavors, culture, and hospitality. It's a gem worth visiting for both locals and those passing through.

When I asked my husband where he wanted to go to dinner for his birthday he said, "Miss Arda". That says it all, really. He could have chosen anywhere from Sydney to Wollongong and on down the coast. But this is the restaurant, only about fifteen minutes from us, where he absolutely loves the food and knows that every meal will be perfection. The restaurant ambiance is casual, with an emphasis on an urban, slightly Middle Eastern vibe in terms of the pictures on the walls. The food is derived from that general area, with an obviously modern, creative twist. The menu is a series of "nosh", small, medium and large plates, designed to share. You can order all from one area, or across the menu spectrum. It's so hard to choose. Each one comprises unexpected flavours that burst in your mouth, from the whipped feta with hot, fluffy flatbread, to the gnocchi with mushrooms. I don't usually have a cocktail, but can't resist their options. Lychee martini with dried rose petals was absolutely delicious. Service is unhurried and waitstaff are very welcoming. We are never disappointed and will keep going back to sample more dishes. Booking recommended.

Food was quite nice and reasonably priced with a good selection of wines and cocktails. The calamari was great as was the wagyu, the flavours of the whole cauliflower was very nice but we all agreed that it just felt steamed or boiled, like a little more time under the grill would've worked. The turkish bread was delicious but the hummus was a little average, beans and potatoes were great!. The service was friendly and efficient enough but could do with some refining and attention to detail. eg the waiter delivered the plates and placed them only at the edge of the table where no one was sitting not the middle and empty used glasses sat at the end of the table for the entire meal right next to where he placed food. When the waitress cleared the table she cleared half of it and left the rest and did other things. The only other disappointment was that there was a table of women near the front door who were a bit tipsy and extremely loud. You could tell other customers were annoyed. Really, a staff member should have gone over and asked them to be considerate of other guests. Worth a visit.
