Hands down..the best Cafe in Kiama..if not south coast. We travel 45 minutes out of our way..bypassing the winner of best small country town on the way...just to get a meal at this little gem. Location is superb..with outdoor dining available, to look over the Kiama harbour. Service is top notch with staff that are attentive and friendly. The cleanliness of the cafe is 5 stars. The waitstaff clear dishes and cups efficiently without being intrusive, they wipe down tables and seats as soon as vacated, and sweep the floor of dropped crumbs. The menu is a refreshing change from the usual cafe fare. With an all day breakfast menu, it is extensive and has more options than your standard egg or vegetarian dishes. The Brioche French toast is a beautiful thick cut serving with perfectly paired toppings. Waffles are available too. Have had both the big breaky and vegie breaky wraps..delicious. The hot mess roll is a definite must for anyone who loves a decent sized, hot, all in one breakfast or even lunch. On a soft milk bun, the beef brisket is juicy and tender with lots of flavour topped with scrambled egg, gooey Swiss cheese and ..well, you'll just have to try it to see for yourself. This cafe gets very busy, but there is always enough staff to handle the influx of customers and the food is served quickly..no mean feat when it is made to order. The coffee is exceptional, brewed perfectly and any requests for extras are noted and provided. The French Earl Grey leaf tea is my go to..not being a coffee drinker. Paired nicely with a Biscoff ball..yum! Lastly, I can't believe the prices for the outstanding in-house made to order food Short Black offers. It is excellent value for money. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Love it🤩

Came here for breakfast and ordered the big breaky. This place gets quite busy in the morning and the staff were very capable of handling everyone's requests. The restaurant is dog friendly which is a nice touch as well. Food came out reasonably fast as well considering how many orders were being served. The meal itself was decent sized, but I was surprised that they offer a single sausage cut in half, considering the price of the meal. The hash brown was nice and crispy. Mushrooms could have been seasoned a bit more. The tomato was flavourful and eggs were cooked to specification. Overall the meal was nice.

Stopped here for breakfast and enjoyed it despite some of the reviews here on Google Maps. Staff were attentive with service at the table provided. When ordering we were able to make adjustments to the dish which they were more than happy to do. Coffee was good also. Cafe lost points slightly for the Açai being too melted when served and the Turkish bread for the bacon and egg roll being a little too thin and broken (messy), bacon was also a bit oily. These are only small things as I would still go back to this cafe as their service and coffee were good.

definitely give this place a wide birth, if you're in kiama ,,,if i could give this a zero i absolutely would i only gave it one star so i could comment and do you people a favor. I had the absolutely worst experience i have ever had at a coffee shpo in my entire life, I asked for a large coffee and how much (very clearly i told her twice what i wanted ) the assistant said that would be $4.50 and i'll bring you're change out i said ok then the manager came out after and said that would be now $6.50 as i politely questioned it ,,the amount of rudeness i received was unbelievable, I got refused to be in there coffee shop and they gave my money back and told me to leave i felt so embarrassed in front of everyone, as i'm on holiday's here in kiama (what an experience to have ). To sum it up there coffee is the worst i have ever had they don't want to listen to there customers and there snobby and really rude they need to come out of the clouds and start treating there customers with respect the only reason why they have customers is because there cheap rude snobs iam never coming back here again ,,,,,all i wanted was a coffee at you're shpo is that to hard??? With saying this i do support small businesses but in this case do all of us a favor and close your doors and go back to coffee school to know how to run a coffee shop properly and while you're there take a chip off you're nose and take a customer service class as well ,,,,please read all reviews here and on their facebook page...

I'd also give a zero if I could these people have no regard for what is required as far as food handling & preparation standards go. Not impressed not sure why the lady/chef/cook thinks it's ok to handle food without using gloves. Not only was there any obvious hand washing before touching the food coming from the kitchen to the front food prep area, but no fresh gloves were put on then she also wipped he hands down her clothes (jeans & tee shirt) but to make matters worse when sealing the brown bag to place the order in, although her nails were noticable well kept short & manicured they were filthy - I was nearly sick & proceed to place my order in the nearest bin, mum ate hers toasted bun in the hope it killed some germs & discarded the filling, she was too hungry not too! The manager needs to take this plus all the other negative reviews on board which are numerous as people wouldn't comment if this wasn't how it is. You can't have a dismissive attitude when things ate bought to your attention! There are food handling & hygiene practices for a reason just because you own a place does not mean you can be dismissive of this & be a law unto yourself! Filthy dirty practices in food handling certainly wouldn't recommend this place if even if it's the only place open would prefer to go...
