We went on Reel Affair to see the Christmas lights, and while being seated at the top deck was nice, that was about the only highlight of the cruise. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of decorated houses participating in the light show. We deliberately chose the later session to get the full effect of the lights, but instead, we spent most of the time in the dark. The houses with decorations were few and far between, and most seemed hastily thrown together with minimal effort. Only a handful stood out as actually putting thought into it. Out of the six canals we explored, only one had a decent display – the rest were patchy, dark, and lacked participation. For the price of the cruise, I expected much better. I mainly booked this for the kids, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. My 15 and 9-year-old lost interest about 15 minutes in, finding it boring, while the 2-year-old enjoyed the boat ride more than the lights. Another point – the continuous loop of Christmas music was overwhelming. It was a random and repetitive mix that didn't add much to the atmosphere. Some variety or breaks would have been appreciated. Honestly, I wish I had booked the pirate ship instead. We passed by them, and their cruise seemed lively, with engaging staff and a fun vibe. Their crew interacted with passengers rather than scolding people for using flash on their phones. Wouldn't recommend this cruise for the price – definitely look at...

Mandurah Cruises offers an unforgettable dolphin-watching experience that’s perfect for families, couples, and solo adventurers. Just under an hour’s drive from Perth, the tour provides a fantastic opportunity to witness wild dolphins in their natural habitat.

The one-hour cruise navigates through Mandurah’s scenic estuary, picturesque canals, and the Creery Wetlands, home to over 130 bird species. The highlight, of course, is the chance to see Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins up close. The crew is knowledgeable and passionate, offering insightful commentary about the local wildlife and ecosystem. ļæ¼ ļæ¼

The vessels are comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a smooth ride even for those prone to seasickness. There’s ample seating and unobstructed views, making it easy to snap photos of the stunning surroundings and playful dolphins.

What sets Mandurah Cruises apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They offer a ā€œDolphin Guarantee,ā€ meaning if you don’t spot any dolphins during your tour, you can join another cruise free of charge. ļæ¼

Booking is straightforward, with multiple daily departures to fit various schedules. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Overall, Mandurah Cruises delivers a delightful and educational outing that’s well worth the time and money. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy Western Australia’s...

We did the 4.5 hr Murray river cruise for my girlfriends birthday and we both loved it. We boarded on time and headed straight out. The water was beautiful and calm but as we were up the top it was a little cool. Licensed bar in the main deck area and beautiful big windows to see the view if upstairs isnt your thing. Toilets available also. Lunch was served after a walk around coopers mill ( which has flushing toilets on the island). Coppers mill was an amazing little piece of history to visit with the tour guide knowledgeable and giving a talk about the history of the mill. Lots of photo ops available and only accessible by boat. Lunch that was served was amazing yet again , prawns, chicken , cheese plater, antipasto, breadrolls, salads and crackers also all self serve and plenty of everything. Bottomless Coffee available free or theres barista services available also. Dessert was yummy and served by staff after lunch. A game of bingo was played as we headed back through the canals with blocks of choc being the prize. We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins on the way back that played with the waves off the boat for a good 20 mins with lots of photo ops available. Tour guides and boat operator funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Will def book again. Only reccomendation bring a jacket as its extremely chilly upstairs even on...

Cruise was exceptional. When we were joined by a small coach of foreigners who needed a translator our hearts fell, we were sure they would take over, but the staff very cleverly involved everyone in the activities & treated us all like vips. We can’t recommend the crew & cruise highly enough. The crew obviously love their jobs & people. Activities - hauling up a cray pot is a hard work, even with the winch doing most of the work! But with the whole boat cheering on your efforts you find strength you didn’t know you had! Learning about the crays, how to determine sex & other details is fascinating. Builds an appreciation for the species & gratitude for what you are about to eat. Drink - The champagne flowed freely & we enjoyed sitting on the top deck chatting with the captain & watching the dolphins. It couldn’t be better. There was beer & wine & soft drinks available also. Food - absolutely delicious. I couldn’t eat it all. Cruise - was slightly longer than stated as we encountered more dolphins on our return & Captain was happy to take his time & let us enjoy the moment. We will never forget this cruise or the staff. It’s a memory that just can’t be topped! Thank you
