We were delighted to discover Tod’s Café during a visit to Mandurah on a quiet Monday, when many other venues were closed. This gem of a café exceeded expectations on every front — from its stylish interior and relaxed boardwalk setting to its outstanding food and service.

Set against a stunning backdrop of waterfront views, the location alone is worth the visit. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated, catering to a wide range of tastes, including a generous selection of vegan options — a welcome surprise.

I ordered the salt and pepper squid, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by one of the most exquisite salads I’ve ever had — a beautiful balance of freshness, flavour, and presentation.

The manager was exceptionally personable and attentive, offering helpful recommendations and taking a genuine interest in our experience.

In all, Tod’s Café offers not only a memorable meal but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s well worth the...

My first time staying overnight in Mandurah and searching for an early breakfast spot—not many cafés open around 7am, but we were glad to find Todd Café open and welcoming.

The atmosphere was beautiful, set right on the waterfront. We had the perfect table against the window, offering a full, stunning view of the estuary. Honestly, the view alone was worth it—peaceful, scenic, and the ideal way to start the day.

As a matcha lover, I was keen to try their matcha latte—but unfortunately, it was one of the strangest I've had. It had hints of cinnamon, which clashed oddly with the matcha and left an unusual aftertaste. It just wasn’t for me. We shared a plate of bacon and eggs, and there was plenty to go around. Generous portions, salty bacon, well-cooked, and satisfying.

Would I return? Yes—for the view and the vibe. Plenty of indoor and some outdoor seats. It’s a lovely spot to relax by the water—just might skip the...

This is my first time as a good mate of mine works here, he speaks very highly of this place, and we decided to dine in, as someone who has came to cafe's wanting that little bit more, I can't say everyone's experience will be the same, but I haven't been paid and am not affiliated or work at Tods in any way, and I loved the food, I got a cheeseburger and chips, you'd be amazed how many I've had that are just average or below that, but I can confidently say that the burger was really nice and filling, the sauce was really good and complimented the different textures to the burger for a cafe burger it was simple but a good burger tastes good and it definitely did, chips were delicious and a nice addition too, I had a vanilla milkshake and loved it, the service was great, atmosphere it's close to the water, food was very good.

Will come down again for sure, and if your looking for a nice place to go to this is certainly...

Beautiful food, fabulous coffee and a perfect location, what a spot! Despite being incredibly busy (there was a queue out the door to order) the food and drinks came quickly, and were to a VERY high standard. The breakfast wrap was delicious, and the coffee was perfectly made. The only thing I would knock a point off for was the (lack of) latte art (see photo), but I'm keeping the 5 stars. Highchairs are available, but there aren't many. On our last visit we had to detour elsewhere as they had none left which was a real shame. The outdoor seating is great, so long as you don't mind being next to the relatively busy walkway. And the compromise is that if you do decide to sit there, you might spot a dolphin! Realy great visit. We will be back!
