Margaret River Farmers Market — Attraction in Margaret River

If you managed to come down for the weekend in Margaret River, I'd advise you to get your brekky right here before you set out for whatever mischief you're planning for the day. There's neverending choices of feed here which has more variety than the average shopping centre food court and everything tastes amazing too.

If you're looking for local produce, there's quite a little bit over here but tucked away in a little corner. The price of the produce seem to be higher than average, but I guess everything here is organic? That's one minor grip I have is the price of food over here is quite high without being exorbitant.

We had the crepe and the arancini balls and they both were demolished pretty swiftly. The crepe took some time to prepare though, so there may be some waiting. But I'd come back and try more things for sure, so I'm not...

This is the only farmers market that I've enjoyed. Unlike the farmer's markets in Indonesia, which are indoors and mostly smelly, this one gives you fresh air and is outdoors with loyal people.

I tried a chocolate and banana crêpe in one of the stalls, and it was freshly served and had a wonderful taste. There are only 2 people in the cart so it might be long to get your order when crowded.

Mostly they use carts so if it's closing time, simply drive the cart and get it done. And I think most people don't like the opening and closing time here since it's open once a week for 3-4. But to be honest, I like this farmer's...

Opens from 7:30am to 11:30am e dry Saturday. Stalls selling local produce from nearby regions. Markets held on the premise of Margaret River Senior High School. Lots of public parking. On white sandy grounds that churns up fine dust when you walk on the ground. Those with sensitive airways will find dust ticklish and cause coughing. My wife had to wear a face mask as she starting coughing when walking through the grounds. The minute she is out of the grounds, the coughing stops. She went back to the car after 10 minutes of walking around the stalls. Good place to buy fresh produce and support local producers...
