Had the pleasure of riding on Jye’s bus again yesterday for a wine tour, I think it’s the 4th time now.

We let Jye choose the stops and honestly I think that’s the best setup. He is very knowledgable about region, the wine and the wineries themselves. And he shared that knowledge with our rowdy bunch in a down to earth fun way. The winery choices and schedule was excellent Montague, Lenton Brae and Aravina for lunch. (There was another stop which for some reason I can’t remember this morning 🍷)

Like the driver ID card says on the bus, Jye is legit. I think our first tour on the MRE bus was 2013 and while even back then it was an amazing day out Jye has kept improving the experience and you can tell he is passionate about providing for his customers.

I may not look that happy in the photo (trying way too hard to be edgy) but can speak for the 16 of us passengers and say we had the best time. Can’t wait to get on the bus again and let Jye show us more of the region...

We’ve recently booked The Margaret River Experience WA to take us on a wine and beer tour for my husband’s 60th birthday. Our group of 16 ranged in age from 20 to 77 years young and we all had a ball.

Jye, our tour guide and driver, was the perfect person for the job. He was very knowledgeable about both the region, wine making and the beer brewing process. He was also fun to be with, though he didn’t take over our party, as some tour guides tend to do. When it was coming up time to leave a property he gave us plenty of time to finish our beverages/meals etc. and was easy to find when we did need his advise or help.

I’m sure everyone in our group would agree that the next time we’re in the Margaret River region, we’ll book The Margaret River Experience WA for our special event, with Jye as our tour guide, as he gave great service and had a friendly and polite manner that all...

Midweek wine tour with Jye as our guide was the highlight of our week in WA, can see why this business has only 5* reviews!

We received so much more than we were expecting, the local region knowledge was next level. Not just in regards to wineries but breweries too (we stopped into a mixture throughout the day)

This is not just a tour where the “guide” just drives you around, Jye was constantly engaging, targeting the wineries based on our preferences, our itinerary changed throughout the day once our preferences were known. Jye was so good at analysing our preferences we ended up buying more and more as the day went on, returning home to the NT with quite a haul of awesome wines suited to drinking in our climate

I was referred to Jye from another local tour operator and was not disappointed at all. We booked everything last minute as we ended up visiting from Sydney but Jye sorted everything out for us in record time. Great value for money, great knowledge of the area, friendly and kept us entertained and engaged on route to each place. We did a custom tour so Jye let us choose the wineries we liked and made it work then took the reins for lunch and our final tasting spot depending on what we’d liked during the day. Great air conditioned and comfortable Mercedes minivan. Can’t recommend enough and would definitely use again if we return to Margaret River.
