TERRIBLE customer service, and a lack of SAFETY. Unprofessional staff and manager, with terrible attitude and lack of problem solving.
I reported to reception, that I found the swimming pool gate open, and when I checked the gate is not self closing & locking. I explained the risk to children and the need to meet council regulations. I was told by Megan, she would inform maintenance. Next time passing reception I was told by Megan that the manager believes that nothing is wrong with the pool gate and that it was shut. I asked if I could show the manager and expain the lapse in saftey and I was told she is busy. This is clearly a lie because the manager is male. Later when passing reception I again asked to speak the manger and again told she is busy.
After cutting my foot while using the commual BBQ area , I looked for a band aid in the nearby first aid box and there was none. I went to reception with my foot bleeding and asked for a spare band aid. I was told they dont service my apartment with band aids, and to go down the road to a shop. I explained it was for me now and not the apartment. I find Megan's response unhelpful and un Australian. I asked what her name was, as she was not wearing a badge and she refused to tell me her name or the managers name. I got her name by phoning reception. The next time in reception I was told by Megan the manger had gone home. Another lie.
At 6.05pm the manger (Lee Burkett) came to the apartment I was staying at on his high horse, verbally and physically aggressive, in my personal space, pointing his finger in my face, when asked to stop he was verbally abusive. He tried to say I was rude to reception staff. I never listened to anything I had to say. From what I believe Lee should be a leader and is currently a poor role model for his staff. He was very unprofessional and showing a lack for safety and problem solving skills. I explained the gate needed to be locked until fixed. Vistitors can easily use another gate. He again abused me and told me to stay out of his office. I had never been in a office, only a communal reception area.
Ontop of this the swimming pool was dirty with bird pool in the water and all over the surrounding paving.
I do not recommend these apartments while run by unprofessional and unfriendly staff with a...
Read moreI recently stayed at Margarets In Town Apartments, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of comfort and relaxation that set the tone for my entire stay. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, offering a very cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a relaxing stay for both short and long visits. I was fortunate to stay on the ground floor, and one of the standout features was the expansive garden area right in front of my apartment. This was a perfect spot to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening. It gave the entire space a serene and refreshing feel, making it an ideal retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The size of the room was impressive — much larger than what I expected — which provided plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. Every detail, from the modern furnishings to the cleanliness of the space, was well thought out, making my stay truly enjoyable.
Another aspect worth highlighting is the location. Margarets In Town Apartments is conveniently located, yet tucked away enough to maintain a sense of tranquility and seclusion. It’s perfect for anyone looking to explore the beautiful Margaret River region while still having a peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day.
Overall, I highly recommend Margarets In Town Apartments for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this property offers everything you need for a memorable experience. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreThe location of the property was ideal, right in the centre of Margaret River and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
We had multiple issues during our stay, including how dismissive and rude the staff were. After the first night of our stay, we were informed that our room would not be serviced that day due to staffing shortages, despite being told beforehand that daily servicing was included. When we politely asked for fresh cutlery and dishes (as the ones in the room were dirty), we were told to wash them in the bathroom sink (located around 1 meter from the toilet), with the staff member stating, “that’s where the cleaners would do it anyway.” This is incredibly unhygienic and completely unacceptable for guest standards.
No apology or alternative was offered. We were later told to bring our dirty dishes down to reception ourselves and were given a random assortment of replacement items that didn’t even match what we returned.
We also reached out to Booking.com, who were very helpful, but they confirmed that the property never responded to our complaint. This was disappointing, especially since we remained polite and respectful throughout.
Overall, our experience was very poor. dismissive staff, unprofessional service, and concerning...
