This is a beautiful Park set amongst luscious trees and Green Grass all year round. It's a beautiful spot for a picnic or a family day out with lots of space including kids playground area, electric barbecues and plenty of Shady areas. It's adjacent to the Maylands yacht club and overlooks the beautiful Swan River with the Optus Stadium and city skyline. Lots of Wildlife including pelicans and Swans. Plenty of parking spots and toilets nearby. Great place for a barbie, kids party or any type of gathering. Kids love to play there. There are swings, slides climbing equipment on the lower ground by the river next to a sandy beach. Then there is the upper area of parkland, bbq's, kids play area. Loads of kids activities. This week end was hugely popular with over 50 kids playing on the upper area. All of them were in raptures with the fun to be had. I couldn't get my grand kids to leave. It was like a massive kids party.
